Small modern boutique coffee shop that’s a short 2 min walk away from the bustling Main Street tourist crowds.
Limited seating outside but it’s a peaceful spot to savour the great coffee made here.
Coffee is excellent- strong & rich with caramel notes. No acidity or bitterness at all. Excellent quality and coffee made with care.
Highly recommended.

Drift serves coffee at a Seattle-metro level, only you have to pinch yourself because you’re in Maui. Oat milk latte was silky smooth and tasty. Locals line up early for their top-notch coffee. Outdoor seating in wicker chairs and round tables is pleasant. Indoor ambiance is zen-surf decor. Baristas are welcoming and ask where you’re from. Very pleased to see this place in Lahaina! Drift serves local coffee grown on Maui.

Best coffee shop in Lahaina. Baristas, service, flavor, coffee, everything! Glad I found it when I did, I made a couple trips here. Beware tho, I did get a reg drip coffee and it was lukewarm so be sure it’s fresh. Still excellent coffee.

Finally some great coffee in Hawaii, with coffee beans and coffee taste as the star ingredient, not the watered/milked down weak options served across the islands. HI used to be a fab coffee destination years ago, so I don’t know what happened. THANKFULLY, Drift Coffee was recommended to us and not only is the place sleek and modern, but most importantly the coffee is really really good!

Cute little coffee shop with quality drinks. The service was awesome and Riley recommended a "dirty chai" over ice. It was perfect. If you're looking for a quality crafted coffee drink, give Drift a try.

Delicious espresso drinks. Using coffee grown in Maui that’s not just local but top quality on par with the best I’ve had in central/South America. The pour over bar was closed. Had an oat latte and an espresso to taste the pure coffee. Has me wanting an espresso machine at home

100% best coffee in Maui!! The drinks, service and vibes are always excellent. I usually go for a latte, they have at least 4 milk alternatives (almond, soy, oat and coconut) and about 10 different flavours/types of sweeteners. Also, their patio is a great spot for studying/chilling!

This coffee shop is perfection. My "usual" each day on vacation was an iced coffee w/almond milk and a pump of coconut and macadamia nut. Drinks were consistent each time. I loved the hibiscus mango tea and ube banana bread for the occasional pick me up.

I also love to see staff genuinely smiling! 🌈 Thank you for being our little hub during our girl's trip.

If you're a coffee lover and find yourself on Maui, you must stop by this fantastic coffee shop. The coffee here is undoubtedly some of the best I'vetasted, with a smoothness and lack of acidity that truly sets it apart from the rest. Depending on the crowd it could be a little longer wait than the big coffee shops, but definitely worth it.

If you’ve got little ones it’s a great stop to get some steamed milk for them as well!

Positively delightful espresso spot. Good service, no lines to speak of. Tables outside. Lots of cold coffee options too. Will soon have pastries, sandwiches etc but for now it’s purely drink options.

Best coffee on the island! They have oatmilk and excellent decaf espresso, too. Staff is super friendly.

A very laid back, but solid coffee shop. The coffee and matcha are great, but what sets this apart is the service. I was genuinely amazed by how consistent and high quality it was. We had 4 different baristas in total on our trip and everyone of them was friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. They all were great at their jobs but also just set the right tone in the store - calm and comfortable. I'd have probably gone back even if the coffee had sucked! 😀

Only complaint was that the matcha mix was pre blended with sugar, so it was hard to get an unsweetened version. Otherwise a great place to grab your morning coffee while in Lahaina.

Service was awesome at this great specialty coffee shop. Business was recommended to me by the founder of Paradise Coffee Roasters in Hilo, Miguel Meza whom I reached out to before coming to Maui. Ordered a 16oz cup of drip black coffee and my wife had an iced latte. Good stuff! Went back a second time, after we at breakfast and ordered a delicious cortado and an iced coffee with half&half. Again, service was excellent and the lady and gentleman running the counter were fantastic. Thanks for great coffee and awesome service👍👍☕🙏🙏

I own a coffeeshop in the Cleveland area and usually I am very picky about coffee drinks. It's very hard to find coffee shops with properly made espresso based drinks and with high quality coffee beans. As soon as I walked in into Drift coffeeshop I had a feeling they would have a great coffee and I was not disappointed. Highly recommend!

The coffee here is the best! They truly know how to make coffee correctly. We ordered a cappuccino, cortado and freddo and they were perfect. We were even asked if we wanted wet or dry foam. The two guys working there are friendly, knowledgeable and make sure you get exactly what you want. We are in town for a week and have been there twice and plan to go back tomorrow too!
