GREAT coffee/espresso spot. Small but adequate breakfast menu - perfect. Every staff member was SUPER friendly. Perfect custom coffee shop vibe. All glass walls, so you have a great view out and natural light.

Stopped in before and liked their coffee. Considering that the other small coffee shop that I was a loyal customer to (since the shutdown) had closed, I figured I'd give Stacks another shot. Had a coffee and a bagel egg sandwich (Greg) and was more than satisfied. Definitely found my new spot for a coffee and egg sandwich. They're open on Saturday, which is a definite plus. I'll be frequenting them more.

It was the best coffee I had in Albany downtown, better than Dunkin’s shop in downtown, had cappuccino coffee and grilled cheese and soup for lunch was amazing… very reasonable cost

I was in town for a trade show and needed to find some good coffee nearby that wasn't Starbucks. Stacks checked all the boxes: good coffee, GREAT breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff. I would highly recommend!

I've been on working on North Pearl for more than 10 years. Today a coworker was having a "Gryphon." I asked here where she bought it and she said, "Stacks." I had never heard of the espresso bar, but I have seen it. It is a very clean, lovely place. Staff is friendly and the sandwich was DELICIOUS!

Loved the vibes! Cool coffee shop and great drinks. We got a Cortado and an iced tea with honey and lemon. 🍋 🐜🐜🐜

Really nice place, attentive service, willing to split a drink I to two cups for small children. Nice, light and clean feeling. Bagels were good and came with a side of fruit.

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and this place was heavily recommended to check out. The coffee was incredible. I got a caramel iced latte & my wife got their nitro cold brew. Both were delicious & they have an array of seating areas for you to unwind, read a book or work on the computer. We bought a bag of their house blend to drink at home & have thoroughly been enjoying it. Support local & stop here!

Stopped in with my wife this morning for a bagel and espresso as we are staying in a downtown hotel and have minimum standards for coffee and such. The refreshments were excellent and I certainly recommend this place. The staff handled a surge of customers efficiently and were most pleasant, even engaging us in casual conversation while handling their responsibilities.

This is a real nifty little coffee shop. I stopped in while staying in the area for one of the best Chai Lattes ever! The service was super fast, the establishment is clean and the prices are extremely reasonable. This place is definitely worth checking out. I will definitely go back again the next time I am in the area.

The staff is always so friendly. The rotating breakfast menu is inventive and the pastries are always super fresh. Love their coffee of course! The biggest perk of the Broadway location is the huge windows that let in a ton of light. There’s plenty of seating making it the perfect place to study/get work done.

Great space. Bright, spacious, clean. My breakfast sandwich, the Jay, was very tasty and reasonably priced. Drove by numerous times and glad I finally stopped in.

Food was fantastic, coffee was even better, and the folks were super nice. Highly recommend for breakfast!

This is one of my favorite places to get coffee in Albany. I love the atmosphere (great music!) and the staff are always very friendly. Their coffee is very good and the staff take care to make your drinks well every time. I took a coffee brewing class from the owner a few months ago and it was really fun and interesting! You can definitely tell that everyone there cares about what they do.

I had the pleasure of working with Cara this summer to cater food for my bridal party before the wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, Cara was fantastic to work with, and I had the chance to eat at Stacks directly as well. Highly recommend!

My matcha Latte was on point and the Santiago sandwich very tasty and fresh. Super friendly and chill environment.

Our fave cafe in Albany. But we encountered an unpleasant moody lady working in the counter at their downtown location. We asked to heat up our croissants, she got mixed up with our order & gave us an attitude. My daughter discouraged we give a $tip.

As soon as you walk in, it's obvious the quality of the beans are high. The atmosphere, service and flavors are top notch. Attached to CoLab co-working offices and surrounded by downtown's professional offices makes this a great location to enjoy coffee with clients. Highly recommend you make this your daily morning routine. You'll love it!

Stumbled upon this place while I was in Albany for the weekend. It was only a short walk from my hotel room so I decided to check it out. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I got a caramel vanilla latte and a vegan apple cider donut. The donut was so good, I ended up ordering another one after! Seriously if you come here, get a donut or two, or three.
