The Kind Cup

A wonderful small coffee shop on the first floor of the cottage and rooms filled with hand made arts and crafts downstairs and upstairs. Arts included fiber arts, clothing, jewelry, paintings, prints, and photography. A small pop-up barbecue place is located nearby and a short walk takes you to the Sound. Whalehead Club, and the lighthouse. Highly recommend this special coffee shop and browsing the work of local artists that are for sale. This location is in Corolla, N.C. ...a block away from the entrance to the Corlla Light Resort on the ocean.

Sweet little shop with the space carefully divided between specialty coffees and local artists and their works of art.

We picked up some beautiful whale pottery and a watercolour painting of an oyster by Jackie Koenig.

Coffee was amazing, so says my coffee connoisseur wife; bringing home a couple bags of beans.

Great coffee! Love the Carmel Mocha! The store is so nice. Great options for gifts or just something for your home. Nice to support local artists. This spot is one we go to every summer we are here.

Love this place and the entire staff! Their house roasted coffee is heavenly! Try the honey dew latte for a delicious change and shop for local artisan gifts while sipping.

Really nice atmosphere and lots of local art and pieces to buy. We had a cafe mocha and a honeydew latte (a honey lavender drink). Both were very delicious! We will definitely visit again sometime for both the coffee and the art!

Great coffee in Corolla. Cute shop with many gifts and handmade items in shop location. Beautiful spot with a full garden out back. Only wish they would post closures on social media! Missed a few days this week and would have loved an espresso everyday. Serve house roasted coffee on La Marzocca with plenty of options for true coffee drinkers and flavored coffee items. The Corolla Fog is a great one of a kind drink. Have both oat and almond milk alternatives and Italian soda for a kid option (as well as hot chocolate in cooler weather). Looking forward to next year!

So many pretty things. I finally know what to do with all the gorgeous broken shells! Chai latte had the perfect spice. Many other beautiful things I wish I could buy. I'll be back!

An absolutely beautiful location, and even better coffee! They roast their own beans, and were even kind enough to show us their process and machinery. Incredibly high quality coffee. We went back a second day, even though it was a little bit more of a further distance, because of how great it was!

Adorable little coffee shop as well as shop with items made by local artists in a preserved old home. It’s a great place to buy high-quality, unique souvenirs or gifts. The coffee is fantastic with multiple non-dairy milk options. There are some baked goods that look delicious, and there are generally some pre-packaged gluten-free or allergy-friendly food items as well. There’s not indoor seating but are a few tables outside. We love The Kind Cup!

Best cappuccino I’ve had in a very long time. 2% milk and dry. This place knows coffee. Outstanding!! This comes from customer of a coffee chain that rimes with Duck. Kinda. Thanks guys see you next year.

Can't get enough of this place! We go to Corolla once a year for a week, and make it a point to get coffee from the Kind Cup every morning. Not to mention they have great beach gifts for friends and family!

Super cute coffee shop. Coffee was great, exactly as ordered. I had a muffin. They have a couple rooms with local artist work. I spent more than I should have. I loved everything. The employees were friendly. I did have a funny conversation. I asked if any of the artist made baby items. I was looking for a gift for a new mother. The girl said "We really don't cater to babies":)) I thought it was funny.

Located in Corolla in the old Corolla Wild Horse Fund building this is a fantastic coffee/ gift shop. Not only does it offer just about any kind of breakfast drink you can imagine. It also has wares that are available for sale from local talent. From postcards to purses, t-shirts, seashell items and more. Stop by and check out this eclectic place with a great atmosphere.

Cute little art and coffee shop. Service was quick despite being busy. My iced dirty chai was delicious and my husband enjoyed his latte. Will come back again!

The best coffee we have ever had. We live out of state and stopped by while touring a nearby lighthouse. We loved the coffee so much we pinned it on our maps so we could stop by every year while we are on vacation.

This has to be one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been in! Ever corner is filled with local art and I was so sad I couldn't look around longer. I had a delicious cinnamon brown sugar iced latte. Highly recommend if you're staying Corolla!

Such a lovely little shop. Reasonably priced hand crafted goods. Place has it's own style. The coffee was tasteful and delicious. The staff were also super friendly.
