Yummy donuts and good coffee and lattes. I like the selection. There was a line but no worries the food did not disappoint. Yum!

Wonderful bakery! I got a variety of pastries for my family to try today and everything was excellent and fresh. The dough on the cherry turnovers I tried was delicious and flaky, and the filling was perfectly proportioned. The staff that helped us was great as well. Highly recommend.

Great coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwich, and pastries! My family looks forward to going to this bakery every year! The staff are friendly and the bakery is very clean and has a good atmosphere. The seating is outdoors and it's a great breakfast location!

I ordered a cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday while we were vacationing & it was delicious! The staff was great to work with and very helpful. Everyone in our group enjoyed numerous treats from NLB during our stay... cookies, muffins, scones, apple turnover, breakfast sandwiches... Everything we tried was fabulous! The line is normally long but moves super quick & the baked goods are worth the wait. This was our first time visiting this bakery but now it's a must visit place anytime we're back in the area. Thanks to everyone at Northern Lights for great customer service and wonderful yummies!

Cute little hidden gem we stopped at first thing in the morning for our search for a coffee/bakery place. Everyone was really friendly & the food was fresh. I had the Vietnamese Iced Coffee & Chocolate Croissant. Really enjoyed them both. My aunts/uncle's got the cinnamon roll (which was huge!), A Scone & spinach croissant. We also tried the Nutella Latte. Everything was very delicious. It was nice to sit outside at the tables they had & enjoy our meal. It is also right next to a mini golf place so If you're in the mood - coffee & mini golf. The next time we're back in OBX, we shall stop by again!

If you are visiting Corolla, do yourself a favor, make the early 7am trek to Northern Lights. We’ve been coming to this part of OBX for a while now and each trip I make it a point to get the whole family fresh pastries from NLB. And every year no one is disappointed! Their cinnamon buns and danishes are a huge hit with the family (make cherry one week for me please!) and personally I would do anything for a Maple Donut!

Staff is incredibly friendly and the people you meet in line from across the county is what being in the Outer Banks is all about!

Do not SLEEP on this place!

I love this bakery so much! Everything we’ve ever gotten there was amazing! Biscuits, croissants, donuts, coffee drinks, everything was perfect! We loved it so much that we ordered extra food and took it all the way back home to Chapel Hill with us this summer. And we tried the biscuits and gravy for the first time this summer, and it was so amazing! I love the onions in it. As a born and raised southerner from North Carolina, it was not my first biscuits and gravy, but it is my new favorite. Everyone is so sweet there. It is our new Corolla happy place. If we lived closer, I would eat there every day….❤

Loved the quick, polite service and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast sandwiches and pastries are to die for and the iced Chai tea and cold brew are perfect on a hot day. Coming back again tomorrow! Try the almond croissant first. It's amazing.

Delicious baked goods! There was about 10 people ahead of us but the line went quick. Wanted a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit but they were all gone by 8am, got the croissant sammy instead, it was good. Vietnamese Iced coffee was delicious and also nice and strong.
The chocolate croissant was very good, laminate dough was nice and airy and flaky, ganache filling was perfect consistency. Eclair filling was good, not too sweet, pate a choux was perfect texture to hold all that filling. Sticky bun was very good straight out of the oven and gooey delicious. Great little bakery!!

The donuts have the glorious heft of a rich dough that is a worthy experience all unto itself rather than leaving it to the fillings to carry the moment. I chose the maple glazed and was immediately transported to my childhood, having maple crullers and hot tea with the grownups. My husband loved the bright, real red raspberry jam filled. The creme filled should be served in place of wedding cake with a creme so smooth and perfectly sweet and fluffy, like the best swiss meringue buttercream you've ever had. Lastly, the turtle cheesecake was to die for, silky and toasty with a generous pecan rim and fudgy core. I cannot wait to come back! You've been added to our list of 'Must Go Back' places in the OBX!

The bacon egg and cheese croissant was so good I had to go back another day to have another one. The eyes are so light, flavorful and delicious! I also loved the strong taste of the Vietnamese coffee. All the workers were fast and friendly even with a line out the door and in the parking lot. Kids loved the doughnuts, and if we were to go back for a non-breakfast, the pies and macarons looked amazing.

Definitely the best iced mocha latte’s in Corolla! The donuts are extremely good and very well priced. Super friendly staff and good parking.. this is a must stop if you like good coffee and/or fresh baked goods!

Love this bakery. Haven’t had a bad thing yet. I Always get the donuts and pastries. Great variety if you go early enough.

I come here every time I am in Corolla to snag a key lime pie. I always end up getting other goodies as well because it is all so good. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this bakery! The owners are so friendly and were incredibly accommodating in helping me arrange a Mother's Day weekend surprise. Highly recommend!!

This place is awesome. I come every day for a week and the line is very long, but coming at 7, the waits only like 20 minutes! Everyone is super nice and the sandwiches and coffee are superb

The employees here were so so nice and friendly. I got chicken biscuit, a donut, and coffee. All three were amazing!!!! I’m so coming back here before I go back home in Charlotte.
