Great place to play outside. This park has a huge lawn to play sports, run your dogs, even fly a kite!
There is a covered area with a barbeque that hosts outdoor music on occasion. Great for small birthday parties, or friendly get togethers.
The playground has a substantial play structure with rubber gravel ground cover.
I see many families enjoy there time here, hope you do as well :)

Just love this park. Clean great place for kids of all ages and dog poop bags provided. And no poison used on grass. I'm a camp fire survivor and feel so blessed to live in Mckinnleyville now!
This is an awesome park.

This is a great community park. Lots of room and fun for the kids and pets. You can find amazing community events held here like Pony Express Days on the first Saturday of June and Music in the park on Thursday evenings throughout the summer. A great way to connect with your community.

Park is always clean, park is great has big kids and small kids play ground, we do our kids birthday here and they have amazing fields and gazibos to make field day games, we also come here on windy days and let the kids fly kites. Great parking lot. That by the time if you have an eloping child like mine you well sure know they heading to it because is quite far for them to get away from you. Both sides!!!! Also, pierson is great when camps are on for the summer or school is out for weeks, they have the activity center and kids get to play outside while they are in the activity center

This is a great place, open to the public and it offers a lot of free services. The park and playground is well maintained and they even have open public restrooms for you and the kids to get some outside time.

This has always been a great park to go to I took my 9 months old and we went down the slide a bunch of times also a great place to bring your dogs and have BBQ or a birthday party

Awesome park for the family. Toys for various ages, cement paths for riding, and a large grassy area for playing, running, sports. Bocce ball courts, covered picnic tables, a disc basket (just one for putting/shooting practice), and bbq'ers too. Picnic tables/bbq areas available for reservation thru McKinleyville Parks & Rec Dept.

It's always clean - no dog poo on the grass. No litter. Not very many dogs which is good for my Chiweenie who wants to fight other dogs & will not stop barking until other dogs are out of sight.

I have no idea how azalea hall or mck senior center is to be honest, I am not a senior and I havent been to the azalea hall, it's been closed for quite some time now due to covid-19... But this building is located on the pickett street side edge of pierson park with large grassy lawn on one side and a parking lot shared with the public library and the sheriff's substation

This park has a very good playground, restrooms that are cleaned regularly, a very large field of grass, picnic tables and trash cans, and to top that off, a "Bocce Ball" area!

Very clean and nice park. It's a great place to let kids run around and burn energy.

Best park in mckinleyville. Well kept grass and playground, a popular spot. Gazebos for parties, boche ball, horse shoes and handicap accessible bathroom

Great place too bring the kids. The rec center offers a lot of activities for children from doing school dances, skate nights and sports.

Spacious, nice BBQ grills, good playground, good grass area and nice accesible bathrooms. A wonderful park on all fronts.
