Wanderlust is a woman-owned bookstore that opened in June 2022, and is a lovely addition to the downtown Bothell community. It is located off a residential street, in a converted house, so it can be easy to miss!

Inside there is a curated selection of books organized by genre - they have a little something for everyone. There are also two arm chairs to rest in as well as a children’s section with books, puzzles and toys on the back corner. There’s also a table with books by local authors.

Outside there is a deck just off the entrance you can sit in to enjoy the sunshine and your new book.

Wanderlust also has a book club and hosts events periodically. Ask one of the owners about them when you check out.

Overall, it’s a lovely local bookstore and I enjoy supporting them and buying books here.

Super lovely bookstore. I curled up in a chair by the sun with my book, and the staff were kind and said I could stay and read. I will be back to support local and find my next book! They seem to have a good selection of books that are thoughtfully curated, and they feature local authors.

It’s like they took all the best options from a larger bookstore and put them in a special place. There’s no filler books just to take up space. Everything feels intentionally chosen, right down to the stickers. What a treasure 🖤

Lovely shop with a deck outside a converted house. Wood floors, cozy chairs, bookcases around the walls. Very welcoming atmosphere and staff. There are a few locally made items for sale as well, including candles and jewelry. Book selection was interesting and covered kids, young adult, non-fiction, and all varieties of fiction, even including a small collection of "gently used" books. I spent about an hour there, and left with 4 books. I plan to go back soon, and maybe join one of their book clubs.

One of those places that are just pleasant to be in. I always leave with an amazing book suggested by the warm and friendly ladies who work there.

I love visiting new bookstores, especially in my area and this one is lovely. The space is charming and comfortable and the book selection was very good. The people are friendly and it's just a very nice place to visit and shop. It's walking distance from the main street so a fun area to have lunch and browse some new reads!

A charming smallish independent bookstore with a very nice owner. She gave us a tour of the store. She is open to book suggestions to carry and will do special orders. Will visit again when I'm in the area.
