Best coffee and breakfast sandwiches around! It's always consistently good and never tastes processed or cheap. I've ordered almost everything on the menu and I've never gotten a bad drink or breakfast. Highly recommend to anyone who loves good food and drinks and wants to support a local business. Staff is super friendly and quick and it's a cozy spot to sit and work for a little while or catch up with friends.

Such a cool place! We travel full-time and love finding coffee shops along our path. Woods & River Coffee proved to be a great stop, and we loved the look of the downtown area. A nice place to walk around while enjoying a great coffee. We bought a few loose leaf teas, and the muffins and pies were delicious.

First time visit and I really liked this coffee shop. The coffee peppermint mocha had a good, smooth flavor, they had a gluten free cinnamon roll that my wife loved and Clark's Donuts were as good as the cashier said they were. The atmosphere was a good feel as well. I enjoyed watching the locals walk in, greet and hug one another. I appreciate the gift of bringing community together. It seems like that happens here. Prices were good and their price board shows they mix up their menu. If I'm back in the area, I'll gladly visit again!

Its almost too good to be true. I hope this review doesn't come off as seemingly fake. Because in reality, Woods and River delivers the best coffee shop/ cafe experience Ive ever had.
My twin brother insists that I write how they serve best Matcha drink... The food is exceptional. The service is sparkling. Its now an experience we cant do without. Thank you to the staff and all... The bagels are fantastic too

Best Breakfast Sandwich in Venango County, hands down.

Their English muffins are so fluffy and flavorful. All pastries are fresh and delicious. I tried many different coffees, teas, and even their soups and everything was incredible. If you’re in the area, stopping here is a MUST. Enjoy!

Loooove this place! Super great tasting espresso and amazing gluten free bagels! They have an amazing choice of cream cheese spreads, I always get the green olive and onion 🤤 I love the friendly owners, Marcy and Erin! They’re amazing souls running an amazing cafe!! 🙏❤

Wow, what a breakfast sandwich! Very cute shop, great food and coffee. Welcoming atmosphere - I wish so much they had an outdoor spot overlooking the river! My only complaint is that it was a bit chilly inside, but maybe that's just me. This place is absolutely worth a visit!

Over the past several months our family has been visiting W&R weekly. I can say that we have hit up a lot of coffee shops in the past year and we always agree that this place is our favorite choice! The drinks are always tasty and the food is fresh & delicious. We also appreciate that they support a lot of local businesses around the area by using and or incorporating their products into what they have to offer. The staff is so kind & we always feel so welcome and appreciated.

The pistacchio latte with an extra shot was unique and extremely delicious, and I've never had a better espresso. I wish I had tried the scones and breakfast sandwich. Next time!

I can’t recommend this place enough. The food, the drinks, the ambience. Woods and River has quickly established itself as one of the gems of Oil City. I love the fact that they source a lot of their ingredients locally. The previous coffee shop that resides here never seemed to truly find it’s identity, however it’s clear to see that this coffee shop has. They have tons of vegan and vegetarian friendly options, as well as food for those with other dietary restrictions. I always make a point to stop here when passing through the area! 10/10

Edit: I think it’s super important to visit here routinely! The menu is constantly changing with daily items. Today I had the Turkey, Bacon Swiss Bagel! Absolutely delicious. The soup was a kielbasa pierogi from Open Door Cafe.

Absolutely obsessed with this place!!! Not once have I been less than AMAZED with the drinks, food and service!!! Can't say enough about this place and is by far hands down my all time favorite coffee shop and place to eat!!! The only thing I could think of that I would change is it being open 24/7 & 365 😜 only because with work I'm limited how much I can get there. Worth every penny and love supporting such an amazing crew!!! Thanks for all your hard work that we are blessed & privileged to reap the benefits of!🥰😍

This is a quaint little coffee shop in Oil City. I get their chai tea, but it is often busy with coffee drinkers. Even with a line of customers, they are very efficient in getting your order taken and served quickly. The atmosphere is cheerful with a little cozy alcove and outdoor seatung.

Absolute best place in the area for any type of coffee, and their homemade baked goods as well, 100 % strong 💪 recommendation. Keep up the great work ladies! 😁

As soon as you step into this cute little shop, you get hints of all sorts or aromas (good, not bad). They have coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fountain drinks, muffins, and Clark's donuts, but my personal favorite is their homemade soup and bagels with spread. They are so good! They make the soup fresh right there. They shop setup is beyond adorable, plus it has an amazing view of the Allegheny River. The workers and owners are super nice, and their prices are really good, as well. It's one of my favorite places in Oil City, Pa.
