I just passed my HQL training today after taking classes with Kenny and John. Absolutely great experience, would recommend to anyone serious about taking on the responsibility of gun ownership. They know their stuff through years of hands on experience working with police training academies- and it shows. Looking forward to taking more classes with this company.

Just finished the 2 day Maryland Handgun Training with Ken and his staff. The class exceeded my expectations mainly due to Ken's experience in law enforcement and knowledge of Maryland laws. His staff was very knowledgeable as well. They encouraged class participation and always took time to answer questions. I had taken a HQL class at a different company and it was boring and felt like the instructor didn't want to be there. Ken's class was exactly the opposite. I highly recommend Ken and his instructors.

If you want to find a class with top notch training and many years of experience, this is the class. The owner Ken, with his highly trained staff, Shawn and Tammi, were extremely knowledgeable and phenomenal instructors. I am a former Maryland State Trooper who has definitely been through my fair share of firearm trainings. This is a well thought out, organized and structured class where you will learn above and beyond what other classes provide. I will most certainly be back to take their more advanced classes. If you are looking for a firearms class, do not look any further. Ken and his team, Shawn and Tammi are fabulous. They are extremely knowledgeable and truly have a passion for instructing others. I originally took that class at the request of my husband who is former law enforcement. Not until I took their class did I have a full knowledge and understanding of the things my husband had been preaching for years. They take the time to educate and make all individuals feel comfortable. I cannot wait to take another class with them.

I took the Vision1Tactical firearms training and was very impressed with their caring and safety aspects. Everything was step by step instructions and very precise in answering all questions and to make sure everyone in that class knew the correct answers. They just didn't teach this class, they showed how much they really cared about getting it done right. I recommend this class to anyone who wants to be trained right.

I took the concealed carry class this past weekend and I can’t say enough how great it was! Shawn, Tammi, and Steve were amazing! I learned so much and they made everyone feels so comfortable. Mr.Kenny was just absolutely amazing!! He was extremely patient, kind & thorough with everything he talked about. There wasn’t one time I was left confused. He gave plenty of time to ask questions, reassured us that there wasn’t any dumb questions and even gave us the option to ask him privately after class just in case we weren’t comfortable asking in front of the class. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about this entire thing which to me, means a whole lot. He’s not one of those instructors that do it just for the money and play YouTube the entire time. I would recommend him 1000% and will see him again when it’s time to do my recertification. Oh one more thing that really stands out about Mr.Kenny and makes him different then the rest is, he even helps you with your application for a small fee afterwards!!! To me that is amazing because it is so easy to mess your application up! Thanks for an amazing experience for both me and my husband!

I have recently taken the HGP & HQL with Ken, Tammi, and Shawn at Vision 1 Tactical. I have taken different firearms classes before and none were bad but here if the class had a question there was an answer to the question. That wasn't always the case in other classes I have been to. The knowledge and information they provide was outstanding.

Just finished my HQL and concealed carry classes with Vision1 tactical in August 2022. Shawn and Tammi Casson were great facilitators and instructors. It’s obvious they have a passion for teaching on this topic. They provide more than the required content you may find at other providers and go above and beyond to ensure that students walk away with a well balanced knowledge on the laws for gun owners as well as a keen focus on gun safety and common sense handling of weapons both in the classroom and in the field when qualifying. Agree 100% with other reviewers that training approach and method is practical and they made the concepts relatable, not just theoretical. Contacted Vision 1 Tactical on the referral of a friend for the HGL class. Being around firearms most of my life I didn't think we would cover much that I didn't already know. Was I wrong. The training and information I received from Ken and Steve is worth much more the the cost of the class and I'm sure goes well beyond the minimum course requirements. From handling firearms to tactical situations to state laws and court decisions, it was very informative. The training sessions were started on time and everything was organized and professional. I would highly recommend Vision 1 to anyone interested in firearms training.

These people are extremely careful in explaining everything you need to know about concealed carry. Safety was first. They will even show you how to enter your application online with the state police these guys are amazing

My wife and I feel much more comfortable handling a hand gun after taking the course and learning things we never knew. They were very thorough with the course. It made it fun and interesting. Though safety was there first priority.
