THE SHED PLACE

We had a great experience working with Darlene. We purchased a repo shed and converted it to a she shed. The purchase, delivery, and setup was smooth and easy. Would definitely work with again.

My husband and I shopped several places for a shed. Finally decided to go with the shed place based on quality of the product, ease of delivery, guarantee, warranty, etc. Darlene, our salesperson in Magee, was friendly, knowledgeable and did not pressure us in any way. Cody the delivery guy was on time and quick with installation. I would recommend them to friends and family, 10/10 service!

It was a very pleasant experience - would have been 5 stars had the shed been able to arrive when expected, but this is not on the Shed Place. I would gladly do business with them again and am thankful for the service I received at point sale and delivery..

They claim I didn't seal the frame at the base well enough.
Went out during the storm tonight to find the leaks are in the roof and the roll up door does not stop water from coming in.

How many weeks/months is an appropriate time frame for someone to wait for a solution?

Edit:

Building leaks water from every side when it rains. As it was installed during the drought we just went through I could not see these quality/installation issues until recently.

Making matters worse is trying to get them to fix this problem. I can't even get them to schedule a date to come inspect their work. Much less show up and do something.

It's been 6 weeks since alerting them to these issues with no result. After Christmas I will be calling them daily until this is resolved.

Updated. It is a bad business practice to lie on your customer. You as the owner, nor your daughter, never explained to me that the door on my custom shed would swing outward. Doors on homes DO NOT swing outward. Yes, I hung up on you because you had your commission and was done with the sale. You offered no help, except to tell me to call the manufacturer. Which I did. They told me to call the company I ordered it from. Imagine that.
Be careful of what you ask for/order because as soon as you sign the contract, if your building is delivered and you find something that is not what you expected, they will not try to fix it. Instead suggested that I hire a carpenter to fix it. I was livid!! I ordered a 16'x32' side utility shed and when it was delivered, the man door, which was an additional cost, swung outward-instead of inward (which is a safety Hazzard because if there is a storm and debris falls outside, pinning against the door and I happen to be inside, there is no way for me to get out). Who installs a man door that swings out? A door should swing inwards. I did not choose that option. It was decided for me and now I have to pay an additional cost to fix it! When I spent over a year with them trying to get everything right on a $15,000 building. No mention ever on which way the door would swing, which I assumed is like a standard building that swings INWARD! Now I have to hire someone to fix it? Also my electrician said the wiring I paid extra for looks shoddy! Wth? Buyer beware.
