Groundhog Grindz

I recently tried Groundhog Grindz and really loved it! The wood slats on the walls made it feel so cozy and the staff were very friendly. I ordered a holiday drink that was amazing and I picked up a white mocha latte for my husband. Both drinks were a big hit. We also tried the chocolate croissants. Each croissant was filled with two large pieces of chocolate. They were delicious. The quality of the drinks and food was top notch.

Great little coffee shop with a great seasonal menu. We got the tiramisu cold brew and the shot in the dark and both were very tasty!

My friend and I were visiting Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day. As I am from the Boston area, where we have a Dunkin on every corner, we were desperately seeking a good cup of coffee. We were delighted to find Groundhog Grindz! The options for coffee creations were endless. The coffee delicious and fresh. The service was above and beyond and the shop clean. We ended up going three mornings in a row and on our second visit we didn’t even need to repeat our orders as the baristas had remembered what we had ordered the morning before. On our third visit we met the owner. He was super friendly and let us know he plans to start roasting his own beans soon. We will definitely be back next year! I wonder… will they remember our drink order?? 😂

A great Coffee location.

The owner was very knowledgeable and meticulous about coffee selection, and quality. Our party had a couple of different kinds of espresso drinks, and they were crafted to perfection.

This is a great location with the drive-thru, and lends itself to multiple visits per day. 😁 Highly recommend.

This place is an absolute GEM in Punxsutawney. Unexpectedly large selection for flavors, great coffee, excellent breakfast sammies, super friendly staff!!

Owners / employees were amazing and so accommodating. Made sure our drinks were perfect and to our liking before we left and even had good conversation with us. We were adventuring in Punxsutawney for the day and stopped in.
I love coffee and my fiancé isn’t the biggest fan but loved their cold brew and highly recommends as well.
I got the banana foster frappe with espresso and it was to die for like nothing I’ve ever tried before. Truly do wish we lived closer it’s hard to find good coffee from a local place with great customer service and great prices where we live.

Such a cute coffee shop! Owner and staff were super friendly. Espresso is really smooth and not bitter at all. Affogato was delicious and even made me a sample of espresso with apple foam. Best espresso I've ever had and I've worked in cafes for 10 years. Highly recommend. Sad I don't live nearby.

Loved visiting here! My bf and I loved the staff they were super friendly and nice. I loved their hot chocolate, it wasn’t too hot which is nice and my bf enjoyed his cappuccino. Stopped in every day we were in town to grab something! Never got food, only got drinks.

The drive through is the best. You can't beat having that convenience available here in a small town. Their caramel macchiato was a win. The atmosphere inside could be nicer, it isn't extremely cozy, a bit more utilitarian, but the booths can be nice to sit at if you need a minute there.

Great place to enjoy excellent coffee and catch some relax time in your busy day.

We were sightseeing in the area and decided to stop here for some coffee. The coffee shop is super cute. The owners and their son were so welcoming, and nice. The iced coffee was very good, and their espresso was the perfect combination of bitter and sweet. We also loved their strawberry banana smoothie for our daughter. If you’re in the area, definitely check them out!

The best coffee in Punxsy, hands down! Amazing people, too. They have a convenient drive thru area and if they happen to have the housemade cold brew coffee in stock, you won't be disappointed.

Huge selection of Latte flavors. Great service. You can not beat the price. I got two 20oz lattes and it came to less than $10! Big city feel with small town pricing. Will be returning for sure!

I would give them 6 stars for the great first impression, punxy needs to stand behind this local business, a coffee shop and ice cream parlor serving Hershey ice cream! :p

The staff was very friendly and when I was a little overwhelmed with the large amount of options they gave me a great recommendation; the cinnamon toast crunch frappe. I will most definitely be coming back to try some more of their tasty drinks z or to get a cone of ice cream.

The sandwich I had for breakfast was one of the best I have ever had! Everything was made fresh and delicious. Even with the crazy lines from the day the staff remained cheery and friendly.

Stopped here yesterday morning after making a delivery for my work. The staff were friendly, mocha was delicious and felt very welcome. It honestly felt like I have been here many times before. A nice addition to Punxsutawney!
