Place is great for coffee. I got regular filter coffee all black and it tastes just like how I wanted. A little bitter. Cappuccino is well made and beautiful. Too bad we don’t eat much pastry breakfast but they look great.

We come here because the ambiance is well designed and the leather couch. Luckily we got here super early and the window seats are open. The town is so cute and quiet for a weekend getaway.

I can tell the owners put a lot of thought into this place with little touches. There are a lot of tasteful green color. My maybe future cafe would totally have their vibe.

Overall a great place for your first cup to just chill and relax.

Jacob Alejandro is *the* perfect coffee spot. It’s a very well thought out establishment. I love the unique curated flavors and that they don’t use your typical flavor shots. I’ve branched out and tried so many flavors in my coffee and was pleasantly surprised with every single one of them. Sure you can save a few dollars and get cheaper coffee other places. But I wouldn’t recommend it. You get what you pay for and here you’re getting the BEST. I’d be totally fine if I never had coffee anywhere but here for the rest of my life. The pastries are delicious as well. And the staff is always friendly! It’s not just coffee, it’s an experience.

This place is very cute cozy it kind of gives me Europe vibes 😊 the staff are very friendly! I got one of their specialty coffee Vanilla Citrus Spice Latte it was very delicious! I also got their fig walnut scone very good too! Definitely I will recommend and come back to try their other drinks!

Ready or not, here comes the holiday-sweet-tooth! And with it comes a very familiar craving for the decadent, above all else. No fear Jacob Alejandro has you covered. With an awe inspiring selection of pastries and seasonal lattes, and the plush-spare-no-expense decor, patrons are enticed to indulge.... I go with the Nutella Cinnamon Roll and the Pistachio Orange Blossom latte. The roll was surprisingly well-balanced. I expected a sweet desert-like confection. But the way the frosting and dough were prepared made for a delicate balance one wouldn't necessarily associate with a cinnamon roll, much less one topped with a generous serving of Nutella... Absolute perfection! The latte was refreshingly mellow and enjoyable. Well done! 👌👏🥳

THE BEST specialty coffee shop I’ve ever been to with the cozy ambiance, the amazing lattes and scones, and how friendly everyone is! The maple fig latte is my favorite seasonal item. But all year round, my go to is the strawberry milk cold brew! Also, I am always of fan of the sweet scone over the savers!

Great coffee, tea, and in-house specialties that change regularly. Scones and other snacks are delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful if you're not sure what to order or want to try something new. A decent amount of indoor seating, along with plenty of outdoor seating, makes it a good place to work from and meet up with people, too.

Amazing coffee and interior design. Typically when you walk into most coffee shops or restaurants that have a beautiful, well thought out decor, the coffee or food do not live up to the effort that’s gone in to walls. This is not the case at Jacob Alejandro. One can instantly smell the quality of coffee being brewed upon arrival and see the interior is eccentric yet opulent. A very welcoming caffeine fuel stop that left me jealous of the locals.

Very nice place unfortunately the coffee was sub par, very limited options. Got two baked goods and they were overcooked.

Update: Have been going here frequently because they have completely turned everything around!! Everything is amazing. The chocolate milk cold brew is my go to but the Lucky Charms was limited around St Patrick's day and was so good I went back the next day and they were sold out. I highly recommend this coffee shop!!!

This spot is super cute I remember my first time trying the crème brûlée latte and the tiramisu latte it took me back to Manhattan mentally. Love the staff they are so kind!

If you are looking for specialty coffee, look no further. They carry quality roasters, and their baristas know what they're doing. It's evident after sitting here for five minutes that foot traffic is constant and well-known to the locals. I'll be finishing my coffee and taking something to go. Cheers!

I absolutely love coming here. The decor, atmosphere, and the coffee itself is superior to literally every other coffee shop I've been to before. I would honestly choose to go here over Starbucks 100% any day. The staff is so friendly and everything is wonderful. A favorite hang out spot of mine and I know it will continue to be!

I'm skeptical of hype as a rule, and yet Jake and Alejandro have put together something truly special in Troy. I've tried a lot of coffee in the Capital Region and nobody does it better - it warms my heart to see people striving for and achieving excellence and they are making a genuinely world-class coffee experience for those of us lucky to know about it (and brave the local parking).

Yes, you'll pay $9 for a pourover so don't go here if you're just looking for a caffeine fix you can get from Cumby's. But know that it will be worth every penny. The pastries are also amazing and completely worth the price asked.

I would only suggest avoiding the place during the Farmers Market (9AM-2PM Saturdays), you'll never get a seat, but they will still deliver you an excellent cup of coffee.

I finally found a place in Troy that makes good coffee! Love the look and feel. Really nice staff and owners, Jacob and Alejandro. Great first visit. Special treat, owners own a super sweet lil doggy. 🤗

My new most favorite coffee shop. In house roasted coffee, dedicated pastry chef, super friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere. Do not miss an opportunity to visit.

Most coffee shops are cute with good coffee but "meh" food. Or have an underwhelming environment but good snacks and coffee. Not Jacob Alejandro. All aspects - the atmosphere, coffee and espresso drinks, and food (specifically scones and other pastries made in shop by the owner) - are INSANELY GOOD. Spectacular all around. The pina colada scone is...otherworldly and lattes have to be the best in the Capital Region. Troy is blessed to have this place. Hopefully they'll have lots of outdoor seating in the warmer months. Can't wait to be back!

One of the best shops around. Don’t let the on-street parking fool you if you are from out of the neighborhood. You walk farther trying to park at the mall. A spot around the corner is perfectly fine. My pic is the Fruition mocha.

This is the cutest, sophisticated coffee shop. They have a great seasonal coffee menu with amazing choices. I love lavender lattes and they had a Pear Lavender coffee. I got a Pear Lavender Latte and I would drink this everyday if I could. It was light and refreshing. I will 100% be back for more. You won’t be disappointed, these guys know their coffee.

Super interesting flavors and everything was so good. Tried la Rosalia, vanilla citrus and pb and banana. The flavors are all subtle and mesh beautifully together. Really something special. The pastries are also excellent. A real gem

Simply delicious. I’ve been a number of times and I have never been disappointed. Danielle made me this blood orange espresso based beverage and I paired it with a savory scone. Yum!
