Royal Farms

Stopped by the Grand Opening of Royal Farms convenience store in Abingdon, VA. Fresh fried chicken and potato wedges, and tons of sides. The chicken was very tasty and the wedges were wonderful none of the super big wedges that aren’t done all were evenly sliced and done. Plenty of gas pumps and several electric charging stations. Fast, friendly and efficient service. I would recommend stopping by and checking them out.

First time customers! The store was clean and friendly staff, The chicken tenders were juicy and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly my only complaint is it was lacking seasoning a little salt goes along way. Maybe need to revamp the seasonings would make for a tastier meal! We Will be back!

I love this place. Selection inside is HUGE and they are open 24/7. A great place to have around when you’re out late and everything else is closed. They make all of their food fresh and have an awesome variety of different items you can get. I also love that they have free air for your tires which is again, awesome. I have not a single bad thing to say of this place. If you haven’t yet been by here I’d recommend them to anyone. 😎

I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious their waffle and chicken sandwich was. I will go there again for a quick snack. And in their coffee section they had hot chocolate as well. The cashier was extremely helpful and it was a very nice place to go.

Extremely friendly staff, they go out of their way to acknowledge you. Ordered food via their online app. When I arrived to pick up the food, the staff in the kitchen greeted me with my food before I even reached the counter to get it. Great customer service and the food was awesome too.

We ordered crunchy chicken salad sandwiches. When we got home we opened them up and found out that the guy behind the counter made us sandwiches with 1 chicken tender on them each. We paid almost 10$ per sandwhich, sad and disappointing, will not be back, and I live 5 minutes away and would rather drive across town

Weird parking lot all registers self checkout employees paid to no attention. I'll not be back here unless necessary.

This is what they served my 11 year old son. And the reason it’s over half way eaten is because inside the store smelt so bad we decided not to eat inside so we ate outside and it was darkish in my car but when my son said it taste weird I turned on the light and that’s what we seen after I just paid over $35 for the food! And yes the bread is molded but the potato wedges were so soggy the Mac n cheese was extremely hot but the noodles were soggy!! and around the edges were extremely hard. The sweet tea taste like it has been sitting for days and we drove 35 min to try their food because I have heard nothing but good things about “royal farms” luckily the store manager was very understanding and I got a full refund it’s just very disappointing that whoever prepared the food didn’t think to look at what they are serving.

I have to say this Royal Farms needs to teach there employees how to cook and season. The food was bland no taste no seasoning soggy and greasy. The western potatoes had no salt and pepper, mac and cheese taste like cardboard. The chicken tenders soggy not crispy no taste. I don't complain but when you pay almost 30.00 you want quality. The stores you have up north the employees has it fresh and crispy and knows how to cook and season the food. Please bring some of your staff from the northern stores down here to train these people how to cook and season and you will see more sales the people just don't care is the issue.

Their chicken was way overcooked and mashed potatoes were very old and bland. It was very apparent that nobody there was properly trained on how to perform their job as well. I went to cash in some scratch tickets and had to walk the cashier through the process of how to enter them manually and she STILL could not figure it out. I will drive the extra few miles and just stick to going to the Bristol Royal Farms from now on, where the food is better and they are properly trained.

went in and ordered two tender subs on the kiosk - orders were made incorrectly and there was a large piece of plastic that was made into the sandwich that my husband bit in to and nearly chocked on

CAUTION. I stopped to grab some cola. The 12 pk cans were on shelves for $7.00 . Already a lot but it's a convenience store so I'll pay. Guy at checkout was nice enough to let me know. Hey they are actually $10.00.Price gouging!

If only the management here was worth a s... Favortism at its finest, no i'm not an employee nor ever been, I have a "real career" lol.
But when 5 of your current employees reach out to upper management about harassment and sexism by management (per employees, with audio/text proof from said employees), and those above refuse to fix or acknowledge issues, should tell corp. there is a problem, oh wait, isn't this a franchise? There are social media posts that have been posted showing the treatment. I'm just leaving the review to get higher superior attention to check into this newly opened building and that already needs new management staff.
