Corolla Jeep Adventures

Brought my mom for her 81st bday and her sister to see the horses! We were not disappointed. Our guide took us on an extensive tour and we were bless to see a bunch. Splurge on your own Jeep. So fun!

This was one of the funnest and most beautiful things I’ve ever experienced! Scott was our tour guide and you could tell he truly loved his job, the horses, and his community! He was such a joy to be around and so knowledgeable about the history and the horses. I have anxiety and get motion sickness very easily. Scott made me feel at ease, welcomed and made sure I was okay. If you’re wanting to do something absolutely unforgettable this is the adventure for you!!! I’m coming back every vacation!

This was really great tour and the guide was awesome. She really knows the history of the area and is really considerate of other drivers, the guests and the horses. I would definitely do this again.

Another thing that was great was going to the top of Penny’s Hill.

One word of advice- wear long pants and bring a jacket and don’t bring any snacks or water. You will be cold. The wind off the water and the constant movement will make it a lot colder than you think. If you have long hair, tie it up. It’s going to blow everywhere. Don’t wear a hat unless it has a strap. You will lose it😀

This place was phenomenal. Tour Guide Tom was very educational and patient with everyone. Our son had tons of questions and comments (high functioning autistic), and he did his best to answer every question. We were able to see some horses while out and about but also saw dolphins while on the beach road. Not once did I feel we would get stuck or that he was taking any chances with his vehicle. Would recommend this place to any one!

This was by far my favorite part of our Outer Banks vacation! We rented the jeep that we were able to drive ourselves on the beach as a part of the guided tour. We were fortunate to see several horses up close that were walking on the beach and roads.

I highly suggest booking wild horse tours with Corolla Jeep Tours.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the wild horses and local history. He made the tour interesting, stopping at several places to give us detailed information about that location.

The vehicles are great! The seats all face forward and have staggered heights so the row in front of you doesn't block your view. This also makes it easier to look around at the different sites. We've been on tours where the seats gave each other. This seating arrangement makes it harder to look around.

Awesome time its a must do if you are planning a trip in the OBX! Ask for Scott as your guide he went above and beyond for us with info about the history of the obx and horses. Super cool guy and he also loves dune buggy and vws! I will be back 10 out 10 stars if I could rate it as that!

Best jeep adventures ever make sure you tell them that Mark sent you. It’s a great please make sure you get the high tide addition and then you go deflate your tires 20% to 50% based on how hard the sand is.

A lot of the other tours have fancier trucks and a bit more “glam” but these guys are the real deal. They accessed places other tours couldn’t and have amazing drivers with tons of local knowledge and many more years experience. Warm and accommodating to our crew of 12 (with 6 kids under 6)! We saw 7 wild horses and much more!

If it was not yet on your bucket list then you know now what is missing!!

We had a phenomenal tour with Corolla Jeep Adventures. our tour guide, Kathy Sue was fabulous! She was so fun and knowledgeable. I recommend this company without hesitation and will encourage friends and family to tour with them as well.

Had fun on the jeep tour and saw lots of horses! We enjoyed also getting to stop at the top of a sand dune for some pictures. Very pretty area and well worth it! Be sure to book as far in advance as you can as they do fill up quickly.

We booked the horse viewing tour on a day where the weather turned really awful just before the tour was supposed to start. We where given the option of a full refund, no questions asked. However, we decided to reschedule for the next day. Good Choice !!! The tour was absolutely delightful and well worth the money. Bill, our tour guide did an awesome job finding the horses and to get us to the right angles to get good photos. We highly recommend this tour as well as this tour operator

The absolute best experience ever. Our tour guild was fun, interactive and just a pleasure to be with. Myself, girlfriend and 9 uear old granddaughter we're overwhelmed by the whole tour. From beginning to end worth every cent spent. The horse's and beach homes were amazing. Can't say enough great things about. If you ever get down here......"A Must Thing To Do"!!!😊😊😊

Corolla Jeep Adventures was the highlight of our trip! If you want to see wild horses in Corolla, this is the way to go!! Just driving down the beach and watching the waves crash was an experience I'll never forget! Our tour guide knew the route like the back of his hand too! He drove us through the houses around the area and showed us historical landmarks too! I would highly recommend if you are in the Corolla area!!

Worth every penny!! Did the jeep tour, so much fun driving on the beach. Skyler was an awesome guide and penny hill was amazing! Got to see some wild horses as a bonus. Thanks for a great time !

My family rented a jeep a couple weeks ago while on vacation because our kids wanted to see the horses and I can happily say we all got more than we expected. Aside from it just being fun to drive around on the beach with the open top, we were able to see dolphins jumping off the shore and caught a glimpse of a humpback whale! Our guide was very knowledgeable and open to answer questions. We saw so many horses and learned alot about the history and future of the area. Our kids had a great time and have enjoyed looking back at the pictures of the horses. Super friendly staff from beginning to end. Thanks for helping us make great memories!

Great tour guide! We followed the group tour in a private Jeep that we drove. Drove on the beach, saw the ponies including a foal and even drove up penny hill sand dune!
Highly recommend it!

This is an absolute must do if u are in or near OBX. I wish I could remember our guides name but he was incredible. He was so informative and did a great job finding the horses. We probably saw around 30 of the wild horses. He was patient and made sure everyone got pictures. In my group we had a 67 yo a 35 yo 16yo 14yo and 9yo and we all say it was the best part of our trip.
