Bruce has the BEST homemade ice cream and BBQ!! The Lavender ice cream is his best one hands down. And he always has some vanilla for our dog 🥰 Cannot recommend Bruce enough!

So absolutely delicious!!! The brisket was amazing, pull apart, melt on your mouth. All of their original barbeque sauces are awesome and the hand made ice cream! This place has it all. I love how down to earth and neighborly Kaleidoscope is. The owner has so much love for his craft, it's a real delight to see. We will be back for more!

Beat vanilla milkshake I've had in my life.

Sucked it down before I could take a picture of it! Ice cream is made fresh in house. All smoking is done out back. My beer brisket sandwich had 3 inches of meat on it, enough for two sandwiches! Definitely got my money's worth.

They've got picnic tables and a volleyball net. Great casual atmosphere. Highly recommend the ice cream!

Food was excellent!! We love our smoked meats and always on the hunt for delicious ones. This place was amazing. Owner, Bruce, was also super kind and social. We really enjoyed hearing about his journey as a small business owner. These are the people we like to support. Also, his homemade ice cream was to die for!

Today we met Bruce at the Saratoga farmers market and he was awesome! His lavender honey ice cream was incredible. Not over powering in flavor but the perfect amount. We will be visiting his shop in the near future.

I spent the morning at the Kayak shack and then hit the Kaleidoscope Cafe for lunch. This place has some of the best BBQ and ice cream I've ever had - and definitely by far the best chocolate shake I've ever had! They have four different BBQ sauces you can choose from. Everything is made with quality ingredients and is fresh. The employees and owner were very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough good about this place, check them out!

We ordered two full rack of ribs, they were absolutely delicious!!! We had a choice of sauces but ribs didn’t need it. So much flavour just on their own. Highly recommend this place. Top bbq places….hands down!!

The food is great! We usually get pulled pork takeout and some sort of ice cream treat and we are always happy. I absolutely love the yard as well. It's really welcoming and reminds me of eating in a backyard barbecue

One of Saratoga’s best kept secrets! Unbelievably good ice cream and Italian ice! We had the honey lavender ice cream, peanut butter immersion ice cream and strawberry lemonade ice today and they were all amazing. The owner clearly cares about every item on the menu - locally sourced, natural ingredients (no artificial coloring, flavors, etc), unique flavors, everything made in house. Highly recommend to any ice cream lovers in the area!

Definitely the best bbq and homemade ice cream around! With a constant rotation of ice cream flavors there is always something for everyone to enjoy. The menu is on the smaller side but everything is fantastic. The meat is always juicy and flavorful. The Mac and cheese goes so well with the bbq, and the sauce isn't necessary but adds so much to the meal. The owner is one of a kind, nice as heck and will always make sure to do right by the customer. Thank you as always Bruce!

Had an awesome experience, got a pulled chicken sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich followed by easily the best vanilla milkshake I’ve had. Extremely friendly service as well! Will definitely be returning!

Brisket was amazing. And you have to get the ice cream. They have really good and unique flavors. I got the honey lavender and the sweet blue nilla with wild blueberries. Bruce the owner and Ty were so dang nice. Very worth the stop.

Awesome local spot! We order the brisket trough (a small combo meal) good enough to fill you up. The owner gave a great demo on the 4 bbq sauces that are made in house; take his recommendations! Our brisket came with a delicious Mac n cheese.

I gotta say this place is fantastic! The food is incredible, Owner and woman who runs the counter are excellent. Everyone must try this place, food is delicious and fast service. Wife and I stopped by yesterday and had Smoked chicken sandwich with a mixed mustard sauce, Mac and cheese and brisket. It’s on a very quiet place and beautiful area in country. Great place to eat and to get away from overpriced crowded places to eat in Saratoga Springs. A must try!!! Will be back often…

This is a little slice of magic nestled in by Saratoga, Wilton and Schuylerville. The BBQ smoked at this place has to be the absolute definitive stop for BBQ in the entire area. Brisket is oh so tender and juicy and you can always expect a beautiful smoke ring and wonderful bark. The Ribs are difficult to get because they go out of stock quickly, but they also have that beautiful smoke ring and are fall off the bone tender. The pulled pork and pulled chicken are absolutely perfect. Moist and succulent with that perfect kiss of smoke. None of these need any sauce, but the sauce here is homemade and actually adds additional flavor to the meats! Gold Q, Smokey Q, Honey Q, Sweet Q; all of these BBQ sauces are excellent choices for any palate. All the sides are glorious, but the Mac and cheese is actually homemade and delicious! Mix the meat with the Mac and you'll have a grand ol' time! Then, for dessert, all of the ice cream is homemade and has to my top pick for ice cream in this area. Plus, the owner is a genuinely good man who puts in the work, love, creativity and patronage into the community and it really shows. If you haven't stopped yet, you absolutely need to if you're a lover of excellent BBQ and ice cream!

The owner is an absolute delight, so kind, let’s you sample all of his homemade sauces when you walk through the door, he makes his meats fresh every morning and it is such pure homemade GOODNESS!!

Great and naturally tasting ice cream. Unique custom flavors. Was very impressed with the taste. The owner personally described what went into creating each flavor. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Simple yet fulfilling menu of barbecue, hot dogs and ice cream.
Very clean in and out, meticulously clean bathroom.
Try the delicious brisket; a tasty generous portion with your choice of sauce. The shakes are super thick, don’t bother opening the straw, use a spoon !

Thanks so much to Bruce and Ty! We had Kaleidoscope Cafe cater my Dad's memorial service in June, 2022. The food was totally amazing and everyone loved the pork, the chicken, and all the salad and sides! Thanks for such a great meal (and for all the great leftovers)! You really helped us to celebrate by Dad in style!
