We think their smoothies are delish and affordable! We have received decent service at two Katy locations … the young people working were polite, if not very interactive. One location was neat as a pin, the other needed a little attention, but nothing major.
The ingredients are fresh and the price is downright refreshing for the size of the smoothie! You can choose some nice add ons, too.
We’ll be back … especially because it’s so nice to have some clean, real food options to feed our grandkids when we need a “fast food” option.

Very fast service and professional staff. Had to come back around the drive thru for a second flatbread! Make sure to try the Chicken Pesto or Cali Flatbread because these a top winners. Will return!

The quality and consistency has gotten so much better here. Originally I had given them 2 stars for terrible customer service and constantly messing up on my food. The last few months they’ve made my orders right , service has been decent, not amazing, but they aren’t rude anymore which is nice. My husband and I always order wraps and smoothies. I’m happy they are hiring better people and making the food at a better standard. We’ve been coming here for about 5 years(coming about 2-3 times in a week) and stopped going for about 6 months because they could never make our food right and the workers were awful. Coming back again now seeing the reviews are getting better and we are happy to say they have come along way.

I always enjoy my visits at this tropical smoothie location! They are super clean, very friendly, and very fast with their service!

It was my first time going to Tropical Smoothie Cafe for Teacher Appreciation Week. It was a very good smoothie I sip all the way to the end. Comforting drink.

Ok so I tried this place yesterday and I absolutely loved it! I wanted to replace a meal with a smoothie and the young lady helping me recommended the detox smoothie which was incredibly tasty ! I was afraid it was going to taste too much like kale and ginger but that wasn’t the case! It was delicious and easy to swallow if you know what I mean! You guys must try this place for yourself, I promise you won’t regret it !!!

I wish these smoothies were sugar and calorie free! They taste soooooo good and soooooo refreshing.

I took my 2 year old son here for a treat and they were so nice! We each ordered a smoothie and the lady was engaging with him while he watched her make his smoothie. The man (I assume these were the owners) brought my son a little backpack with a water bottle and sunglasses inside. It was so nice of them and it really made my son so happy! We will definitely go back.

I spent $40 for my family at a smoothie place next to this place and threw them all away as they tasted like pure sugar. I then went into this restaurant play and placed almost the exact same order with five sandwiches to accompany the smoothies and I could not have been happier with my decision. Everything was absolutely delicious and the three kids working the front we're fun to be around!! We need a place like this in Minnesota.

I just want to thank the restaurant and the people who were working today. I am 31 weeks pregnant and going through some depression. I’ve been making myself sleep all day everyday because my dreams are more fun and interesting than real life right now. Anywho I decided to wake up and try this place. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potatoes and a smoothie. It was such an escape and seriously made me feel like a million bucks. Thank you guys so much for just doing your jobs and making the food the way it’s described on the menu. It was delicious and it made me so happy today. Thanks guys. ❤

This is a gem folks! Really excellent quality food. They have a very diverse selection of healthy flavorful foods and amazing smoothies. The combination and combining of different ethnic styles is very well thought out and make for excellent unison. This is high nutrition with fresh ingredients geared for every need from muscle promotion, weight loss or positive gain, or simply to maintain good health. I don't know about the past but there are smart, welcoming, service oriented employees here now. This franchise totally gets it!

Great tasting smoothies without a ton of extra sugar. I do wish they had gluten free food options but the food items they do have are great for the otherwise health conscious. I also love that they have a drive through which is perfect for moms who want to grab a healthy bite on the go without having to unload their kids from the car.

The chicken salad sandwich and banana chia peanut butter smoothie were delicious. The service was great. The lady behind the counter was patient and helpful on my daddy and toddler meal out.

They have Beyond Meat chicken strips now. Not my thing, but my wife will appreciate this vegetarian friendly option.

The place was very busy, but everyone was still very friendly and we were able to get our smoothies quickly. Good fresh flavor. Really enjoyed the chia banana boost smoothie!

Really like this place. Good food. Lots of healthy options. It's not as fast as a normal fast food place would be but the quality of food is much higher (and I assume not pre-cooked). Highly recommend. Also they have an app worth downloading where you can accumulate points and order ahead.

The Detox Island Smoothie is the best. Service is good.

This place has the best smoothies! My go to is the Bahama mama, avocolado, and beach bum. They also have really good wraps. I would definitely recommend this place. The staff is also friendly as well.

Smoothies are really good. Little bit of a wait time but nothing too bad. They make it exactly how u want. I got the green smoothie. Asked for a little bit less sweetness and the guy kindly did that. I was happy :) perfect for these hot houston days!!

There are so many different smoothies to try and all the ones I have had so far have been amazing. They also have a large assortment of food items that seem to be good.
