TLDR: Small Business Beware: Las Vegas Mannequins Left Us High and Dry (Twice!)

As a fellow woman-owned small business, I placed my trust in Las Vegas Mannequins, hoping to support another entrepreneur. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Twice we ordered a significant amount of fixtures well in advance for renovations, only to face constant delays and ultimately missed deadlines.

The first order debacle:

-Unreliable Quotes: Delays plagued the initial quote process.
-Missed Deadlines: Fixtures arrived five days after our scheduled renovation completion, causing a costly business closure.
-Broken Promises & Subpar Products: While the delay was caused on "shipping delays on new counters," the delivered fixtures were used and damaged, requiring multiple repair visits. No apology was offered.

The second order nightmare:

-Unreliable Quotes: Delays plagued the initial quote process. It took them over a month and a half to quote 13 of the same item.
-Last-Minute Shock: We received a less than 24-hour email notification that our order, promised for a specific date, wouldn't arrive for two more weeks because it hadn't even shipped!
-Refund Runaround: A requested refund was met with a "30-day wait period".
-Unresponsive Silence: Following up multiple times yielded no response or flimsy excuses.
-Pressure Tactics: Weeks later, the owner attempted to pressure us into accepting the (unneeded) delayed panels they claimed to be "stuck with."

Empty Promises & Lack of Accountability:

Despite a detailed email outlining the unprofessional handling of both orders over a five-year span, the owner offered a hollow apology and promised a refund. Three weeks later, THE REFUND IS STILL OUTSTANDING, with continued unanswered emails. This is more than a month after they were suposed to put in the refund originally.

The Takeaway:

These repeated issues spanning several years point to a systemic ownership problem, not isolated employee mistakes. Las Vegas Mannequins actively caused disruptions and financial strain for our small business. Their lack of communication, missed deadlines, and disregard for customer satisfaction are unacceptable.

Do Not Make Our Mistake:

We urge other small businesses to steer clear of Las Vegas Mannequins. Look elsewhere for reliable partners who prioritize your success and treat you with respect.
