Just stopped for a quick pick-me-up and the coffee was great! My wife said her hot chocolate was great as well! Small place with giant amounts of character!

So welcoming... Great young staff a pleasure to have in the shop. Great coffee's and hot chocolate and pastry's. The croissant sandwich was so good. Loved it! Well, stop in again. Very dog friendly, too, with pupachinos. ;)

Treasure in the mountain. Cozy atmosphere with huge Christmas trees in front of the balcony. Outdoor seats would be really nice when weather is not too cold. Indoor seats are comfy as well. Coffee is good but with room to improve, I find the Cappucino hmm, a bit weak in taste but overall, a great experience at Pure Bean Idy.

After drinking drip coffee using 3 month old pre-ground beans from our Airbnb, pure bean was an incredible relief. I had it with their poppy seed Bundt cake which was choice. Thank you so much for the good coffee!

Best coffee. From a sustaina ilitt standpoint (which should be important to a coffee shop that goes through so many cups a day in a mountain town), I love that they offer REAL cups and mugs, however I look around and notice most people are drinking out of a paper cup because the employee didn't ask. I wish this place would train employees to ask if the customer wants a real mug or a paper one so we could minimize our environmental footprint here. Or even a monetary incentive for people to choose to get the reusable cup. Thanks for the excellent coffee!

I literally went here a few months ago… I was just thinking about the place again tonight and realized I hadn’t written a review. I had such a nice time there despite being alone at the moment. My friends were shopping and I needed a bathroom. The place was clean and had a cool vibe. I decided to order a snack and a beverage. My piece of banana bread was amazing, my drink was great and the service both friendly and thoughtful! I will definitely be recommending this place as a stopping spot when going up to Idyllwild to my friends and family. I know I will be back! Thanks Pure Bean! 🌸

Great location in a perfect mountain village. Friendly staff and locally roasted coffee beans. Good tasting pastries made by a local baker. Good outdoor seating.

I dont come here very often because im not huge on coffee but when I do, Ive always had good experiences plus coffe isnt añl that they have hah

Excellent coffee joint with caring coffee baristas. Love my leaf design on top of my coffee drink. We had honey, lavender latte with two shots of expresso accompanied with half slice of chocolate cake. It was delicious! Friendly environment 😌

Great breakfast sandwich and chai latte. Lots of outlets to charge (inside and I saw at least two outside too!) and places to sit.

Mocha & tea were really good, it was nice to escape the cold for a little bit. Friendly and personable service!

Place was fine, lots of varied seating to include outside for dogs. Didn’t get the super cozy coffee shop vibe tho.

My fave joint to stop in. Great atmosphere, kinda woodsy vibe. Good coffee and great desserts.

When it comes to cafes I judge off the obvious: the ambience; the service; and the quality of the drink.

The ambience is chill, very contemporary cabin vibes, service is cool—young cats serving top tier drinks.

The level of my latte was perfect on all counts: texture, temperature, flavor—10/10 from me.

Nice outdoor seating and lots of room inside.

Love it here, always great, even wheb waiting while due to Saturday Sundays out of towners, it is always worth it.
