The shop is beautifully decorated and service excellent. I had the Silk Road chai and an ube cookie, so delicious! Honestly one of the best cookies I’ve had in a while.

Love this tea house. Lovely, cozy, and comfy vibes. Services are excellent. And most of all, teas taste heavenly.

This place is divine. You can feel all the love that was put into it; from all the details and the products they offer.
Aria the owner was such an amazing host. She was so welcoming and warm. She helped me pick my tea since I was indecisive and you can tell she’s passionate about what she does.
I will definitely be going again! I wish there was one in my hometown but I don’t mind driving almost 2 hrs to come have tea and enjoy the rest of what Idyllwild has to offer.

Shala is my favorite place in idyllwild to spend a quiet morning drinking tea! I’ve tried hard to work my way through the menu and everything is seriously delicious. Lots of fun, unique flavors and new spins on classic teas. They also have seasonal flavors that keep the menu fresh and interesting. The baked goods are so so good as well. Also, if there’s a tea you love, you can get a bag of it to take home!

Everything about Shala is just incredibly inviting and cozy. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a book or journal. I’m so stoked to have them in Idyllwild! Not to be missed if you are in town visiting.

Super cute little tea shop right in the middle of Idyllwild. It may look expensive, but the tea is well worth the price. It's small, but seating is tucked into little nooks all over the shop. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time here and already want to go back.

A wonderful spot that you should absolutely add to your Idyllwild trip. A cozy, newly updated modern rustic interior that is relaxing and enjoyable. A wide assortment of delicious teas prepared with skill and craft that really stand out. To add to it, they have some wonderful baked goods and some unexpected treats and a small shop in the "library" in the back with a great selection of items from books to bath. The staff was amazing and they were also dog friendly. It was the calmest our dog has ever been in a store, so bonus points for the fantastic atmosphere they have built.

Unexpected and Charming! I’ve been coming to Idyllwild for decades and this place is unique even for this town!.. The space is enough to draw you in (arguably one of the oldest log buildings in town) but the teas, service and atmosphere will entice you to stay!…. At first glance you may wish they had their outside seating (which is in the works) available,.. but this shop has 180* views of the lovely downtown area. Or you can choose the more intimate space in the comfortable “living room” adjacent. And the items they have for sale are unusual and great for a gift for yourself or anyone else. Try Tea instead of coffee this afternoon! You won’t regret the change! I know I’ll be a regular whenever I’m “On the Hill”!

Such a nice calm place to step out of the bustle that can happen in Idyllwild on a weekend. One of the owners (so sorry I forgot your name) was so nice, helping me find something I would really like, inviting me to look around the library in the back. Tea is Amazing, so hope they stick around so I can finally have a great place for tea nearby!

I went in today for the first time. It is absolutely beautiful and a great energy. The tea was delicious and the pastry I chose was divine. Sitting outside with a friend topped off the wonderful experience!

Gorgeous space, wonderful women ownership, perfectly curated selection of tea, tea accessories, books, gifts, healthy yummy snacks, amazing smelling things and sustainable house goods. This is a welcome addition to town and I’m so excited to watch it flourish.
