Crooked Letter

I had the pleasure of shopping at Crooked Letter while at a conference. Yes, the store features an outstanding, carefully-curated selection of Mississippi-made products, but what made the experience extra-special was Taylor, the store's associate. She is welcoming and ready to chat, knowledgeable, and possesses about the best customer service I've ever had. What a treat!

Such a cute local store! An excellent place to buy gifts and household items. I love that everything is locally made in Mississippi. My favorites are the Blackjack candles and unique cards for any occasion. They have jewelry, prints, t-shirts, postcards, and food items also! A must stop location in Mississippi.

An amazing cute little local goods store. The woman that was working is the absolute sweetest! The goods are of high quality, locally made, and a ton of one-of-a-kind gifts! Highly recommend stopping in to see all the super cute stuff!! I have been twice already during my stay in Meridian and will definitely be back before I leave!

Very clean and quaint place. So fun to shop all local, not just are the owners from here but everything is Mississippi made. Was greeted upon entering and owners were very nice. Super cute stuff there and will be going back!

We visited 'Crooked Letter' when we were on a roadtrip through Mississippi. This is a super cute little gift shop. Tons of adorable and unique items.

I cannot brag enough about this shop! I was heading home for the weekend and desperately needed a birthday gift for my mom. I was at a gas station trying to find a target, when Crooked Letter popped up. I decided to check it out and I am SO glad that I did! The staff was very helpful, and the shop itself clean and beautiful. I ended up finding not only a birthday gift, but a house warming and baby shower gift for other friends. (as well as several candles and other goodies for myself! lol) I am sad I don't live in town to shop here more- but will be ordering from their website tons!!

As soon as we saw the name, we knew we had to go into Crooked Letter. It's exactly the kind of store we love. As luck would have it, we walked in just before a book signing ended, for Crooked Snake! My mother, being a fan of True Crime as well as an avid reader and local-business-supporter, immediately bought it, and is looking forward to reading it by the pool at the hotel.

Crooked Letter is a very open, bright store, so despite being relatively small, you don't feel trapped. You're greeted with a huge smile, but they aren't overbearing. They allow you to take your time and look. Of course, the author was so friendly and kind that we spent most of our time talking to him, and will likely have to return to Crooked Letter tomorrow!

For my fellow tourists: if you'd like to bring home souvenirs that are actually somewhat related to where you went, and not just the same ol' “I went to XYZ and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!”, Crooked Letter is definitely the place to go. High quality products that for sure made in Mississippi, right downtown (next to Weidmann's!), and a pleasant place to look around. 10/10!

It's the misses' birthday and I'm heading to a meeting in Meridian but hadn't the time to get anything for her yet. Saw Crooked Letter as a suggestion so stopped in and asked the ladies to help, gave them my price range and my cell and they are taking care of the rest while I'm in my meeting, promising to have it ready well before my meeting lets out. Regardless, that's above and beyond for me and excellent customer service!

Crooked Letter has a great selection of all things Mississippi! It is a unique and well-crafted store to find the perfect gift.
