My FIL passed away suddenly and my husband had a plan for his casket. We all thought it was insane, but Tommy told him do what you need to do we will accommodate you and I will help any way I can. Thats exactly what they did ....the pricing was better, the service was better, the people were better. We had an issue day of funeral with a tv and dvd player we brought to show a video. Tommy jumped right in, figured it out and ran it on one of their TV's and it was wonderful. I can't express the level of customer service an attention to detail they posses. Down to Marie helping with the video and making such a beautiful pamphlet. I would use them again and recommend every one else that needs this type of service to do the same. Thank you again to the staff for making a difficult day a lot better!

While yes they do have quite the business, so you would think that they would be in a rush to get things done and on to the next one, They did not make you feel like that. Our family had to make unexpected funeral arrangements for a young family member in Jacksonville. This was the first time we had to deal with anything like this. Tommy and the Peeples staff are absolutely wonderful, extremely patient, and made everything so easy. They compassionately went above and beyond during the worst time in our family's life. They were always available to speak with us whether that was in person or via phone and answered each and every question we had at any time. Tommy also did his best for us to be able to see our family member twice before the funeral service. Although this was difficult for the staff to accomplish, it meant the world to us and they recognized that so, in the end, we were able to see our family member. Most in this business are more concerned with making money and display a lack of humility, empathy, and compassion towards the grieving family, but not Peeples. They are also conveniently located and have a beautiful facility. No words can express how grateful we are of Tommy and his staff at Peeples Family Funeral Homes. We HIGHLY recommend them.

Arriving on the property we noticed the beautiful grounds, well maintained property & sparkling clean facilities..We were greeted at the door by Ms.Jills sweet smile. The team at Peeples did an outstanding job from the beginning. We were never rushed, or made to feel like just another family,they were able to answer all of our questions and we were treated with kindness & compassion. Having 24hr access to any of the team members for any questions or concerns During one of our families absolute worst times we've faced was a huge comfort...We could have peace knowing our loved one would be well treated & with dignity while in their care..Mr.Robert, Jill, Tommy, Marie & those behind the scenes..thank you for treating us like family and easing some of our burden.

Tommy Johnston and the staff at People’s Funeral Home went above and beyond our expectations. He was available with any questions even after hours and was very through with every detail. The new facility is wonderful with plenty of room and we were able to use the event space to gather afterwards. The catering he suggested was not only reasonable but delicious and it allowed us to enjoy a meal with family without worrying about anything.
