DiFiore's Ice Cream Delite

Such a cute little coffee and ice cream shop. We went when there was a rush for a pick me up coffee break after lunch hours. The owner was the only one working, he was super friendly and was able to make out hot drinks fast and delicious. Even though it was cold out, our boys wanted ice cream that they thought was the best! The pastries were amazing too! I’d love to go back when the other side is open for lunch and dinner.

Stumbled upon this place on a very hot day in July. I think it was the owner but they saw how hot we were and let us sit in the coffee shop next door to beat the heat. Ice cream was great and service was amazing. Featured them in my YouTube video.

One of the best ice cream places we have ever visited and we have visited ice cream places all over the world! The owners are amazing people and went out of their way to make sure we were delighted.

This is our favorite ice cream shop. We always make a point to stop. Their regular food items are as good as the ice cream. Too many good things to list here but it's a must stop when you're in the area.

DiFiore's Ice Cream Delite is the absolute best ice cream shop in all of Pittsburgh. If you disagree, maybe you've never really tried it --- and I'll have to fight you tooth and nail!

The owners are incredibly kind, charismatic people who welcome all people with open arms. The food is to utterly scrumdiddlyumptious, delicious, and to die-for!

But the ice cream? The ice cream is where it's at. Get a large ice cream waffle cone. I'm telling you, it's like at least a foot high! It's the largest, tallest ice cream cone I've ever seen in my life. You have GOT TO try it!! The portions are very generous for the value.

They do not have a credit card processing machine and only accept cash. There is an ATM down the street, but that may be a problem for some visitors who don't use cash anymore.

Besides the fact their Banana milkshake was awesome, prices were only $7-8 for a large and the proximity to the Mt. Washington overlooks makes for a fantastic walk and view!

Loved ❤ this place! The Italian Hogie was amazing and the ice cream was superb. The staff was helpful and cut our sandwich extra so we could share it.

Di Fiores was just awesome. The owners there were honest and extremely helpful! We ordered a meal, and were able to pay for it, but we planned to get ice cream. We didn't have enough cash to cover the ice cream, but they actually offered to cover it for us! No one in our family could even come close to believing how amazing this place is! And their food is delicious! We seriously recommend this lovely place and guarantee you'll love it too!

So you just ride the Incline up the hill & walk to this Ice Cream shop! They have sandwiches & soft serve, Malts, milkshakes, smoothies etc!! Delicious!!

My family visited Pitt and stopped in at DiFiore’s Ice Cream Delight and we were so glad we did. It is a cozy place and the ice cream is so good. I had a chance to speak with Todd, the owner, and he is completely delightful to talk to! I highly recommend stopping in there and getting some Ice cream and also visit the Grand Brew next door.

Awesome hospitality! On a fringed April evening we had exciting kids who wanted ice cream on top of Mt. Washington. DiFiores did NOT disappoint. They graciously opened their doors and scooped out a delicious treat sending everyone off with warm hearts and big smiles. Highly recommend!

The food here is delicious and you get generous portions. The Philly cheesesteak, meatball hoagie and quesadillas were on point. Great service and friendly owners. We didn’t have the Ice cream but will come back for the food whenever we are in town.

Owners were really friendly. Ice cream was tasty (I had salted caramel cheesecake and cookies and cream). There is a nice seating area behind the shop with umbrellas to keep you shaded. Cash only. ATM right next store at Keybank.

My boyfriend and I just brought our dogs up on a rainy sunday and I'm very happy with my experience! I was expecting the staff to be rude but they were very kind and respectful. Being the oversized child I am I made a huge mess and the (owner, I believe ) brought me out a sanitized wet towel to clean myself up.

I haven't tried out the hot foods yet but the ice cream was great and they have chocolate jimmies. This place is all good in my book :)

I can not tell you in words how good the 🍦 was I had the Butter pecan with cashews and it was delicious. They have a lot of different cones to choose from and a lot of different flavors so if you want a delicious treat visit DiFiore's and get you some of the best 🍦 in Pittsburgh.

Outstanding food! Huge banana split, heaped with toppings, delicious chicken quesadilla...best I've ever had. Friendly fast service, great conversation and the staff even dried the outdoor chairs from the endless rains before we sat down. Highly recommended. We WILL stop back again.

Used to go here when I was in college. Glad to see that are still around. Great little place at the top of the city!

Had friends come in from Chicago and they absolutely loved the place ice cream and coffee were amazing. The owner was so pleasant and service was excellent. A must place to visit especially riding the incline and then stopping in

Always good ice cream. Really only go for the food. Closed during the cold months. Locally owned. Owners sometimes pic random days to close if it is cold. Great food. A bit expensive. But never disappointed.
