Charming post office in this little town. It’s a real gem and everyone works hard and knows what they’re doing!

Every Postal worker in the country is under so much duress with the change in the USPS administration. You'd never know it when you go to the Ishpeming Post Office. They are polite and prompt and do their job well.

Beautiful historic building, and you can tell they are real pros by the red Swingline stapler.

I send a lot of packages, and always get friendly service.

Ive had quite a good experience with the post office and prefer them over the other post office in my area. The guy is not really the nicest but I really like the lady that works there, she's really helpful and sweet. I usually have her when I go there anyways.

3 times now I've had time-sensitive material that NEEDED to go out on a specific day NOT picked up by my carrier despite the flag being up, even after it was put DOWN without pickup. Not great, guys, and a very real reason the USPS is looked upon as unreliable.

Edit: THREE days in a row my flag is up and nobody picked up my outgoing. Thanks a bunch, it cost me about $100, so I'll just send the invoice to you, yeah? Oh wait. It'll never get there. Mayhaps Ill drop it off instead.

For 6 months now the carriers have had problems closing my mailbox. I have tackfully let the post office know this but to no avail. I close the mailbox by pushing the lid in an upward fashion until it does not move anymore.The postmaster even left me a message claiming that side of the road needs plowed better. It is a state route and straight almost level surface?

Called and didnt get to talk to anyone...the recorded messages dont cover all the issues you could have with your mail. Which means you get to listen to recording after recording and never get an actual person to explain the issue to or get an answer on where your mail ended up.
