It has a wide variety of hobby shops but I went for woodworking. They have all the basic tools in a clean, air conditioned environment. The $10/hour fee is reasonable. You do need military 🆔 to use the facilities.

Would highly recommend this place for any of your arts and crafts needs! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The process was a breeze from beginning to end. I’ve commissioned their work twice and both times my expectations were blown out of the water. Definitely would recommend for any piece of handiwork you could ever want!

Excellent and quick service. The Staff are knowledgeable and were able to help me out with a quick deadline. Will absolutely return in the future. Great place to bring a group of Soldiers through to learn how to utilize the equipment.

The craft shop has a stencil and paint set up for those of all ages. My grandkids 7 and 6 made beautiful art work with the assistants help. The atmosphere was terrific, friendly, and, helpful. I would recommend anyone seeking a good and joyous time for kids of all ages to visit the Apache Craft Shop on Ft. Hood this summer and year round.

Excellent place to make your own Arts & Crafts

I LOVE that you can go there and paint ceramics! Awesome for kids and adults!Very relaxing ! They have the ceramics there for you to purchase for childrens theme to huge detailed dragons. You pay hourly which includes all the supplies you need.

Shirts, hoodies, flag, wooden creations... these guys work great, fast and they are really nice.

Great crafts for everyone! Anyone can learn how to do the project they want and come in at any time! There are safety courses one must take first, but the whole place is your artistic oyster!

Updated 20220317 AWESOME place!! Overlooked because it is not advertised. One of my favorite places to visit and love the staff. Wish more people visited. They are currently bringing in new items and classes GO CHECK THEM OUT!!

The stencil section is really great, they were very informative and very helpful getting things done for us with stencil and laminate good deals as well

Did a rush job for us to laminate some maps for NTC, next time going to drop off the maps at least 2 weeks in advance but we dropped the maps off on Wednesday and picked up on Saturday but staff was very accommodating.

Good place for plaques and engraving on Fort Hood. They have many other services too like ceramics and printing shirts. Check em out before you go off post.

Question: I like to paint- can i just show up & do they have free supplies (brushes, paint, canvas) or do I bring my own?

Chris was very helpful and well informed in their woodshop, the machines that were in service worked great, and the atmosphere is welcoming and fun.

Art is a lost art. Its good to be around such a creative and organized staff thats both family friendly and aims to please. Pick up a paint brush and enjoy the company.

Ft hood craft shop, lets support this place before its to late. They have a nice wood shop and ceramic shop. The sales store is well stocked.

Love this place. Bob in the ceramics shop is wonderful to be around and work with. There is a lot to do here and so much of it is low cost.
