Great portions, wonderful customization and it was worth multiple trips during my time in New Haven! I enjoy that you can really customize your order even if you have drastically different tastes from your friends !!

Love the create your own poke bowl. Just recently visited for the first time and the staff is super nice/helpful. All the food seems really fresh too! Will for sure be back.

This was my first time having a Poké bowl, and I was not disappointed! Pokémoto makes some amazing bowls with rich flavor, variety, all within a rather large bowl for not a large price tag! They have plenty of traditional options, as well as a vegan option, on top of building bowls from scratch, so there's plenty of ways to get creative with your meal!

The branch was very clean, and had a pleasant aesthetic throughout! The staff there are terrific and very accommodating! I would certainly come back here again!

Noticed a recent change in management and it’s been so much better. I can tell the new guys care about what they are giving out, the way it’s presented, the taste and the amount is prefect. Genuinely feel welcomed when I go back , they don’t forget a face. Even knows half my order😌

This is always my go to!!!! It isn’t on Snackpass like pokelicious but honestly it’s like 1000x better so totally worth it. The staff is so friendly and everything is really fresh. One girl named Veronica (I think sorry if I spelled it wrong!) was SO nice and she definitely deserves some kind of promotion. 11/10 would recommend!! In the photo the toppings look squished but that’s only because I really went ham on the mango lol

Tuna and salmon rice bowl with delicious toppings of your choice. I don't know what they do to the rice to make it so good. Once you try it, you will be back. The pineapple dole whip is really good if you like pineapple.

I’m not from New Haven but my in laws are there. This will be my go to spot every time i visit. Already looking forward to next Sunday. I got the poke bowl with 3 proteins. He then asked me what else i wanted in it and then mixed it together. The taste was everything. I highly highly highly suggest you try this place. The employees were nice too.

It was refreshing & fulfilling. I like the fact that you can create your own bowl/ burrito/ salad. I had the spicy shrimp and added in other things.

Fresh ingredients and large serving size, if you like poke - this is your place

I had the Hawaiian poke bowl and the miso soup and they were both delicious.

My wife and I came here for a late lunch and had a great experience. I’ve never had Poke before, but it is really good...I got the regular size Hawaiian bowl and it was excellent! Very filling, and super tasty! The staff is super friendly too.We will absolutely be back for more!

The poke options are typical. Tuna, salmon, tofu, chicken, etc. Sauce options galore and items which I have to ask about because I have no clue what they are. But no matter, the toppings are free and basically unlimited so it's the perfect opportunity to try everything. The regular sized bowl is more than enough, even with a salad base instead of the more filling rice option, I had trouble finishing it.

Not a bad establishment, the prices are quite justified. The staff is nice and friendly. The food is quite tasty, everything seems to be pleasant. There is parking. Everywhere is cozy and clean. The interior is simple, no frills, the exterior is unremarkable. Nice cafe, I recommend

Gather round and let me tell you about my amazing experiences with this magnificent group. I've been a regular patron on my own, but I also have the wonderful experience of using Pokemoto for catering for my job. I wish I could give them 20 stars for their service. Thom and his team are exemplary . My catering orders are always correct, and usually 10 minutes earlier than the time requested. Recently (today) I had actually confirmed an incorrect date, which Thom graciously caught and corrected effortlessly. My order was still correct AND on time, despite my own error.
This place is fantastic, and Thom and his team are fantastic to work with.

Good mixes of hot and cold, soft and crunchy. All your favorite things about sushi combined into a salad. You can add what you want! Fish is fresh and sauces are flavorful.

Wish more places like this were around my area. Loved seeing the giant vat (genuine Japanese rice cooker) of white and especially brown rice. All the flavorings were excellent, you really can't go wrong. If you want more protein add the kani salad. The avocados were ripened to perfection. The spicy dishes were somewhat infused with heat, but were delish. Before ordering, make sure to peruse all the fab toppings intently (missed a few that would have accompanied my dish), there is an up-charge for just a few but the rest were included...if you choose. The miso salmon was most enjoyable especially with added seaweed & kani salad, edamame, and nori. The finale of garlic chips were a nice dimensional crunch. Highly recommend for vegetarians as most of the toppings were geared to that dietary need.

Used the kiosk to make my order - low stress seeing as it was my first time. Absolutely delicious food, looking forward to going again and trying some different sauces!
