Red Wing - Lake Forest, CA

Went in to replace a 5 year old pair of 607's. Was greeted right away and given the size I asked for and he even laced up the boots for me! While walking around I saw the insoles and given great advice on choosing one. My feet had been hurting lately and was glad to be back in a pair of work boots I could always rely on

I have bought over 12 pairs of boots for work crew. They all love them. Lynn was great in the store until he retired. Sniff.. I would call and tell him what size I needed and I came in they were pulled and ready to go. I just recently brought my work shoes in, the toe/sole was coming off. Brought them in and the young gentleman had my size pulled and ready to exchange!!! While in there I bought myself a pair of steel toe work boots. They fit amazing from the time I put them on! Love how they look!! He was very accommodating: I didn’t care for the original laces, he took them in the back an re laced them w thicker laces for me and gave me a spare set! Awesome customer service and amazing products!!!! I’m def a life long customer!!!

Spent months looking for a good pair of hiking boots, visited dozens of other stores, and then surprisingly found a local Red Wing. Had an excellent experience in-store; Lynn was super helpful, friendly, and had a wealth of knowledge to share. I couldn't find the model of boot that I wanted to try (on or offline), but Lynn was able to help get me measured and contact the other stores to order just the right shoe in just the right size. After a short break in period, took the boots on a 5 mile hike with 35 pounds of gear, and they were amazing. Thanks again Lynn!

Staff were very professional and are well educated when it comes to finding the proper shoes/boots for yourself. They recommended a certain insole for my boots and now that I’ve been using them it feels like I’m walking on pillows. Highly recommend this location!

Pleasant experience. Called ahead to make sure they had the boots and when I got in the gentleman was extremely helpful and friendly. Never had any issues at a redwing store but this dude was just genuinely friendly and chill. Thanks man.

They have a full stock of inventory and are very happy to fit you and make sure your boots are right for you! I highly recommend this location!

This is the only quality place I could find. Prices are not cheap, however the stuff is great. Customer service was top notch!!! It was nice to be treated like a customer. Wow. Just like it was years ago. When you shop at a place like this remember you are touching and trying stuff on. Can't do that on Amazon. It takes time money and owner commitments to have a retail stores. So I personally will pay a little more knowing that a real retail location was there for me. My laces were replaced and boots were oiled on my old pair without question, complaints, or concern. Just shows they understand what a customer is, and im definitely one of theirs now. Thank you for the quality service and great attitude

I just want to take a second to say I love red wings and the in store customer experience. Couldn’t ask for better service. They take care of you when you come in and are very knowledgeable about their products. One particular individual “Hugo” was super helpful today and really took the time to listen to what I had to say and answered all my questions with due diligence. Hugo I Really appreciate your customer relations skills. So good to see your keeping your spirits up even in these troubled times were in. Red wing makes and sell America’s best boots what’s not to like!!!!! In store experience is where it’s at to because they can really help you figure out what you like and feet need. Best of all employees will be at your service to sell you your dream pair of boots with a smile and true dedication to the boots.

Part of this review is for the Red Wing Products I own - if you're looking for good boots, than I can attest that my Red Wing Heritage Iron Rangers are grate and have taken years of abuse. I recently bought a pair of Pecos boots as well.

As for the store, I came in a few times for boot oil and some suggestions from the team and they've always been nice and helpful. Good experience all around.

This place is amazing. Jon doesn't make you feel like a customer, he makes you feel like family. He's not eager to sell you anything, he's eager to help you. I've gotten my last 3 pairs of red wings with him and he's been incredibly helpful despite me being a difficult customer. I can not recommend this place enough.

I had a tough situation regarding some boots that I had bought here and they worked out the situation very favorably. Besides the quality of the boots themselves, the people here are easy to work with and very understanding as well as accomodating even when things don't work out the first time around.

Red wings is the shiessnit, been wearing red wings for 10+ years and I won't stop wearing them. I wear them to work (construction) or ill wear them to take a cruise out on the town or even to a nice dinner. 100% satisfied customer...

The original boots are just the best thing on this planet, had mine for 12 years before getting them resoled and now I'm looking forward to the next 12 years in them. No other boot has delivered like that
