Great place to bring your kids or join as family to do taekwondo. They offer a two week trial for a discount to see if the place is the right fit for you and your family. My daughter loves going to her classes. She has learned to be more confident and outspoken since joining in 2020. Definitely worth giving them a try.

Those leaving less than a five star review of JK Kangs Taekwondo are spreading misinformation. Don’t believe me? Come and check the place out for yourself. We have been taking our two young children here over two years. The past Master left around Christmas unannounced to the families leaving the kids in flux and the parents without direction. Since then, Grand Master Parks and family have pieced together what was left and have made this school into an absolute family focused training powerhouse! There is an electric and contagious energy in the school now that we have never seen before. My children now want to go to training when previously they did not. As for instructors, there have been no less than five Black Belts at anytime during the classes and currently more than 10 on staff. The student to instructor ratio is unmatched anywhere in the region. Don’t believe me… I challenge you to come and see for yourself. Thank you Grandmaster Parks. We are truly blessed to have you all teach our children in these most challenging of times!

My son has been practicing at J.K.Kang's Taekwondo Center for close to 6 maybe 7 years now, and my daughter for close to 3 years. The management and the care of the teachers have been amazing. I thought once my son reaches black belt, he will be done. Little that I know, he not only wants to continue, but he is asking me if he can stay extra. Recently with the pandemic and everything closing, they found an alternative and encouraged my kids not to give up and continue their training. The teachers get to know the kids personally, and approach each child based on what the child needs, and I can't say enough about Master David and how grateful I am for him getting to know my kids, spend time getting to know each of their personalities, which cannot be any more different of each other, and approach them with different tactics.

My son has been going here for over 1/2 of his life now! He started when he was 3 1/2 and now he's 8 1/2 yrs old. The instructors are amazing and always willing to help. They provide amazing taekwondo physical training and also give the kids little talks now and then about school and home and respectfulness as it applies outside of the training hall. My son is so athletic and attentive and I truly believe that it all started here. He excels in all sports and I have J.K.Kang's to thank for that. They laid the foundation for him to be disciplined both physically and mentally. I can't thank them enough for being such a positive impact in his life.

My son started to go to classes in Jan 2019 and we've been coming ever since. We didn't know anything about taekwondo and he's learned so much. The teachers are wonderful with the kids (it's a talent I believe). They keep the kids engaged and smiling but also very much instill discipline and respect. I love it. We're most excited about having his next birthday party here too, since you get to cut the cake with a sword! Also - through the pandemic, they've been super accommodating with live/online sessions - and the place is immaculate. Can't say too many good things.

My son is a student at J.K. Kangs, I think Master David is great with the students, he knows what each students abilities are and gets the most out of each student. It’s not just about teaching Taekwondo, Master David and his staff also teach valuable life lessons helping the students become healthy and successful in life. We often practice these life lessons at home. I can’t believe how many times people have told me, my kids went there and my grandkids went there, and they all had good things to say about J.K. Kangs. My wife and I are both happy with our decision to send our son to J.K. Kangs. We have seen our son develop both personally and in his Taekwondo skill set.

I have 3 children that come here 6,5,3 and the new staff is amazing and very knowledgeable and teach the children the right training and very understanding and helpful I will recommend anyone who wants good training to bring their family to this location you will not be upset and will be the best decision you will ever make

My son and daughter have both been going to JK Kang’s Taekwondo Center since they were in preschool. Now my son is steps away from achieving his second degree black belt and my daughter is working her way towards her black belt after already receiving her Little Tigers BB🥋

The instructors teach them so much more than just the formations and physical abilities to achieve their goals. The mindset that is instilled upon their Taekwondo students is just as important, if not more. Discipline, self respect, honesty, 100% effort and setting goals. I’m so glad we have this place to go to help us instill so many important values in our children’s lives. They have learned and continue to learn so much and I see how their confidence continues to grow as they take each step towards achieving their goals.

Our son has been a student at J.K. Kang's since he was four years old. We plan to enroll our second child as well. I frequently tell Master David that he is helping us to form our child into the person he'll grow up to be. Master David and the other instructors work to instill discipline and respect in the children while challenging them to develop their skills. The lessons are difficult yet fun for the children.

My son started Little Tiger Taekwondo training at age 4 and we have been a JK Kang family for 4 years and counting! For a kid who wasn't into soccer, football or baseball and was easily distracted and impatient; this program has really been beneficial. It's amazing to see his progression over the years. Taekwondo training has been the perfect blend of body and mind--encouraging health through exercise and focusing on all the characteristics to make a child a confident, well-rounded person. Master David teaches respect, commitment, hard work, cleanliness, listening skills, Korean vocabulary terms, how to pack a punch and a mean swing kick! Love the old school discipline! We've met some great families and made new friends.

I've been going to J. K. Kangs for three months with my 6 year old son. I wasn't sure what to expect since I've never done martial arts before. The classes are fun and my son really enjoys it. I like the fact that I can learn alongside him and break a sweat at the same time. I'm really impressed with the instructors and Master David. They've really done a great job keeping it interesting while teaching.

My son has attended classes and camps at J.K. Kang for the past 3 years. We have a lot going on at home with a younger sibling with severe medical needs. The staff at JK Kang has been nothing but supportive of our son and our family. Our son had alot of insecurities with the world around him (as a result of our life experiences) and they have really helped him become a confident, outgoing child. They continually check in with me about how he is doing in class and at home. The staff is very professional but has just the right amount of a silly side as well. My son really likes attending here and talks fondly of the staff. The staff has been supportive of our daughter and family as well. They attended a fundraiser we held and helped raise funds during a tournament. These kind actions were above and beyond the typical relationship you have with a business. They make it feel much more like a family atmosphere. This is not the closest training hall to us but it is very worth the drive. I highly recommend J.K. Kang in North Olmsted to anyone looking into starting Tae Kwon Do for their child or themself!

My son has been taking classes at J.K. Kangs for the last year and a half. We are very pleased with the professionalism and quality of instruction he is receiving. Master David and his staff are excellent with the students, they make the classes fun and foster an environment that makes the students want to learn. The students are also taught valuable life lessons such as how to be a good student in school. What it means to be a contributing member in their family. What it means to be thoughtful and think of others to name just a few. I am very happy that we chose J.K. Kangs over the other schools in the area.

My son at wanted to begin taekwondo training after attending a Early Childhood PTA party at J.K. Kang's just before he turned 4. We enrolled him and he has now been training for three years.

I now have two children who train at J.K. Kang's and I also have begun training too. We are able to take classes separately or together, which is a great option and experience for the kids and myself.

The instructors are very receptive and care about the students. The children not only learn formal training, but also Korean words, home rules for children, and overall discipline. They are even questioned occasionally to make sure they are keeping their rooms clean at home. :)

The variety and flexibility of class times are awesome! Our family participates in multiple sports and being able to attend class different days and times each week is awesome. We love it!

Master Dave, Sami and entire staff are amazing. They are patient with kids but at the same time show them proper discipline. My daughter has been with them for a year now and she loves it. They are doing an awesome job with sanitizing everything before and after class, wearing face masks, online classes and social distancing in these crazy times. Thank you to everyone at JK Kang.

I’ve been training Muay Thai at J.K. Kangs for almost 6 years. I started at Kang’s because I wanted to learn kickboxing, become more physically fit, and lose some extra pounds. I love that they teach traditional Muay Thai. Master David is the perfect instructor. He cares if you are doing movements correctly. He has a high level of concern that everyone is exercising safely to avoid injury. Above all class is structured and respectful, but we also have a lot of fun...they have taken precautions that go above and beyond in regards to Covid. I feel very safe continuing to attend class. I highly recommend this facility!

Jk kang's has been amazing! My son has been going there for 4 years and joined the afterschool program this fall I could not be happier. They teach him respect, honesty , self confidence, self discipline, determination and follow through all while doing something he loves. In the after school program he does his homework has learned skills to help around the studio. Having two working parents is difficult enough however now that he is at JK kang's he never wants to leave. It is his second home and he has made amazing friendships. They do amazing things and my son always asks how he can give back. If you have to be away from your kids why not give them their own place to shine. Jk kang's gives them that place in a constructive way to exercise and enjoy a home away from home. I would never want to send him anywhere else they have taught him life lessons that are carried over into everything else he does and it's done in a way that he can shine.

I have two daughters who currently attend J K Kang's Taekwondo School. They are young teen girls who very much need the discipline, strength training, self-confidence and martial arts muscle memory the training provides - in this ever troubling world we inhabit. I am grateful for the dedicated teaching provided by the masters and instructors at J K Kang's Center. As my daughters enter high school they will as well be testing for their black belt status, and we plan on continuing to second degree level and beyond - as their time and interest is maintained. As Hemingway wrote in A Moveable Feast: “If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.” - I feel these martial arts skills, and the mental discipline, will 'stay with Zina and Alexa, wherever they may go.

Very good school, I have four children and it has been an amazing experience and the new staff is really nice and friendly. Even I have joined with my kids.
