I am a regular at 11am every Thursday.
This is very likely the finest BBQ establishment east and west of the Atlantic Ocean. You heard that right, the world. The atmosphere and ambiance is simple and perfect. You are there to have brisket juices run down your chin and the decor shows it.
Sliced in front of you - you see exactly what you are going to get, he cuts heavy if anything and usually adds a slice of sausage so that you regret not ordering a pound of it. When you get to the counter, you expect to empty your wallet and be happy about it, but nope, reasonable prices.
If there is ever a “special” or a new menu item, which is rare, get 3. It will likely include bacon or cream cheese and there’s a possibility it will change your life.
Kind, courteous staff and always sells out, get there quick fast and in a hurry if you don’t want to cry yourself home without dinner. A destination bbq location.

The bbq was so yummy! It has an open concept seating. There is a sink outside the rest room so you can wash your hands without going into the restroom.

Amazing little BBQ joint on the side of the road. The food was amazing!!! Service was great. Up seeing our daughter and found this place on Google so glad we made the trip over to try it out. If your in the area do yourself and go eat some amazing bbq!!

Drove 100 miles round trip to check out Duncan BBQ. It did not disappoint! Excellent East Texas BBQ! Can’t recommend highly enough.

Absolutely the best BBQ I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to every corner of Texas! The staff are friendly and the area is clean. My favorites are Brisket, Ribs and jalapeño sausage. The meat is always tender and delicious and all the sides are amazing!

I’d like to start by saying I’ve had BBQ all over the southern States and I always get the pulled pork sandwich. There are so many variations of the sauce but the texture of the pork is generally the same.

I have NEVER had the pulled pork literally melt in my mouth the way this one did. This man knows what he’s doing!!! By far the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever eaten. It will definitely go on my list of specific foods that give you the happy dance.

Do yourself a favor and try this place…you definitely won’t regret it!!!

We have driven by several times, but l noticed it was posted on Facebook as a good place to eat. Great reviews were true. Stopped by on a Friday afternoon and had the daily special. Chopped beef sandwich, two sides, and a drink. That was the largest sandwich! So good and chopped to perfection. Barbecue sauce was very tasty. Sides delicious. Will be back often.

This was an awesome place to find. We were hungry and driving through and sounded good. Very happy we did!! The food was amazing! We got ribs that were fall off the bone delicious. With some chopped brisket and plenty of sides. They have their own BBQ sauce that was amazing too! My personal favorite was the ribs, brisket, banana pudding, and their Cole slaw. If we happen to come back this way we will definitely make it a point to stop back in for more food.

Very friendly atmosphere, the brisket was very tender with a great smoked flavor. The baked potato perfect basically turned into a mashed potato my family loved every bite.

Great lunch! I had brisket, turkey and jalapeño sausage. The moist brisket had great bark and good flavor and very juicy. The turkey was also very good and great flavor. The jalapeño sausage was ok, not bad but I’ve had better. The mac and cheese was real good and the cucumber/tomato salad was phenomenal. The staff were great and the dining area is nice and they have a nice outdoor seating area too. Will definitely go back.

Went for dinner amazing place excellent food. Macaroni and cheese is awesome. Brisket is excellent and they do scimp on meat

We came here last summer on a motorcycle ride it was called Moore's Meats then, I knew the owner personally and the food was good.
Not taking anything away from the original owner. But the brisket we ate yesterday was probably the best I've ever tasted. It was juicy, melted in your mouth, WOW!! I can tell you this is the place to eat some BBQ.
Tables were cleaned with alcohol, after each patron got up and left.
Nice place, we we're greeted warmly and the FREE banana pudding was a nice touch, and tasty too.

Best Sunday BBQ place, Ever! We are regulars now. We were forced here one Sunday because the two BBQ places in Emory are closed on Sundays. So glad we came! Brisket is like butter! So moist and simply seasoned. Not a lot of silly spices on this meat. No sir. Just smokey goodness. And the puddin' was a surprise surprise. Congrats on the perfect health score to you all!

We are from dfw área and this is by far the Best bbq I have ever had. Friendly service and delicious brisket. The smoked turkey was juicy and tender. Sausage had great flavor. The sides are generous and prices are reasonable. Get there early because they sell out quick. You gotta stop by if you are in east tawakoni area!!!

Brisket was absolutely amazing, loved the buttered toast it came on! I travel around a lot and one of the best I've had the pleasure of eating. Definitely will stop in for more

Everything about this place is done right. The food is exceptional. The order I asked for was chopped beef sandwich. I wanted it moist. It was perfect. I will definitely be back. If your in Lone Oak you definitely need to try this place.

I stop by there Saturday and got the East Texas special. Really really good barbecue. I eat at all the Barbecue places around DFW. Terry Blacks, Hutchins, Pecan lodge etc… Duncan’s is just as good or better. They do an excellent job!! Good job guys!!!

Omg!!!!!!!!!!! As a Texan,I've eaten A LOT of bbq.....this was the freaking best I've EVER had!!!!!! We were on our way home from Oklahoma and took an alternate route that took us by Duncan BBQ. We all had chopped beef! The Texas toast it was served on was toasted to perfection, the bread never got soggy. The flavor of the meat was unbelievable!!!! I wish we lived closer to this place cause I'm in LOVE!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Ribs were to die for!!! Didn’t want to put it down long enough to pick up a fork to eat the sides!
