As you can see from the other reviews the food and drinks are incredible here. But make sure to say hi to the owner. She is living the American dream and is a joy to speak with! We enjoyed our smoothies and breakfast burrito before leaving topsail, make sure to visit before you leave. You won't regret it!

Such a darling little café & gift shop! Owner makes the baked goods herself and they are AMAZING!! The coffee was absolutely wonderful as well :)

One of my favorite things about being at the beach…is my surf city coffee on the weekends! Staff and coffee are always great, love that they support local artists and always fun to look at the artwork while getting coffee. Definitely the Best coffee shop on the island/area! The staff always makes sure the coffee is how you like it, and if you are not a coffee connoisseur like my hubby, they will help you find what you would enjoy.

The customer service at surf city coffee was amazing. The employees take the time to ask questions about how you like your drink before starting and then offer to make adjustments as needed once you taste your coffee.

The baristas suggestions led me to get a flavor combo I wouldn’t normally choose and it was fantastic. She asked if I liked my coffee sweet and I said not super sweet so she also adjusted the flavors so that the coffee would be the foremost flavor. It came out to be a perfect morning latte!

Even with individualized help the line moves fast. My group of 5 all had coffee in hand quickly.

We will 100% come back here!

I loved Surf City coffee. So good and everyone who works there is so kind. One of the best parts of this year’s beach trip. They made sure I liked my coffee before leaving and it was much appreciated. Can’t wait to come back!

Awesome place for a quit breakfast snack, amazing fruit granola cup. This place feels like home. Had to visit 3 of 4 days. Of course they had a pup cup for the dog! Will definitely visit anytime I’m in town! You guys are amazing!

Not just a cup of coffee or freshly made sweet treat (drink or bakery item) but a place to feel welcomed and like “home away from home” Always clean, fast and accommodating! While dogs aren’t allowed inside they’re definitely treated well with a cup of love and fresh bowls of water outside.

I cannot speak to the food as I have not eaten there but my daughter and I go there all the time and we absolutely love Pat and her staff. They strive to always make sure your drinks are what you want. They ask you to taste it before leaving so they can fix it if you don’t like it. And if you don’t they will immediately fix for you. The staff is always so friendly and we love the atmosphere there. Highly recommend.

My daughter says they have the best smoothies on the island. Great place right in the center of town. Also has some local art and crafts for purchase.

This was the cutest little coffee shop!! The staff were all so friendly and kind, we felt welcome the second we walked in. They have a really good variety of coffee flavorings and a smoothie list as well! Highly recommend stopping in(:

We have been stopping in for a long time but never had anything but beautiful friendly service, amazing coffee and delicious smoothies. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant and relaxing and the coffee shop is immaculately clean. We absolutely love this place and will continue to come here as long as it’s in business.

It's a cool place with lots of art and trinkets. The coffee was amazing and we had the breakfast burritos which were delicious! She cut them in 4s making the really easy to eat without silverware. Everyone behind the counter was super nice and entertaining! Definitely check it out if you are in surf city.

Coffee and service was remarkable. Wish I found them earlier in our vacation. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Wide variety of flavors and beans.

My wife and I walk here every weekend we are in town. Super nice people. Strong and delicious coffee. And there are little nicknacks if you need a gift or a souvenir.

This place is great. I've tried every coffee place and I always come back to this one. I see barista work as an art and these people are artists. If you come from a place with bad coffee only (like one of the many chains) it's hard to go back to it after this place. As a side note the owner is just awesome, and the staff banter is a good time. I swear every visit they are laughing or smiling about something. It's refreshing to see.

Best coffee shop on the island. The drinks are always perfectly made and the owner (and all employees) are always so very welcoming and kind. Every time I go they insist you take a sip to make sure you like it - and if you aren’t satisfied they will remake. These days, that type of service is almost non-existent! Love this place.

Me and my husband came here from Maryland, and are staying in the island for a few days. And decided to check out this coffee shop, and from start to finish the coffee and the costumer service were amazing! The staff was great and the young man Bryan, that i met and talked to, was just brilliant! Great latte as well. Would definitely recommend!!! ❤
