We ordered a variety of dishes because we were very hungry. While randomly searching for Nepalese restaurants, we came across this one and found it to be amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food, especially the chicken chowmein, which is the best. Please try this place, as you will feel as awesome as we did. I highly recommend this place for authentic Nepali food and outstanding service. I'll come back again, obviously.

What a great new place to eat! Best Nepalese, Indian cuisine in CT!! Love the food, service and the owner, Bhanu! He’s such a great personality. Congrats with your restaurant!

So, I hit up Taste of Everest in Manhattan and let me tell you, it was quite an experience! I decided to go all out and got myself a veg thali and a non-veg thali. And just when I thought I couldn't indulge more, I couldn't resist trying their fried chicken momos – talk about a flavor adventure!
Now, here's the scoop: the food was on point. It wasn't crazy spicy, which was a relief for my taste buds, but the flavors were absolutely delicious. The veg thali had this awesome mix of dishes, and the non-veg thali was just as impressive with its variety.
And the fried chicken momos? Oh boy, they were a delightful surprise! The place had a relaxed vibe, and the service was spot-on. If you're into flavorsome food that won't set your mouth on fire, you've gotta check out Taste of Everest. It's safe to say I left with a happy belly and a craving for more!

Had a very good experience here, the server was very attentive and friendly. There was nice heat with the masala dishes that we ordered spicy. Very satisfying if you've never had Nepalese cuisine before. Definitely returning as I found this place a very good value as well.

The Nepalese food here is tasty, similar to Indo-Chinese food but more flavorful. The chili chicken momos were very pungent and spicy! We also really liked the veg chowmein. A great spot that’s also open late.

Food was good, hearty, (generally asian) comfort food.
Interesting idea, dishes from countries surrounding Everest. It was a lot of fun watching other diners eating Chinese noodle dishes, while we ate Indian-ish. Best place to bring folks who can’t agree on what to eat.

Amazing service and food quality. We went for snacks and had jhol Momo's, masala tea and pakora and it was definitely worth trying. Jhol Momo's are best. It's not too expensive considering NYC. They do have clean restrooms and the ambience is pretty good as well.

This place is an absolute gem. I ordered the lamb momo and they were so delicious. delicate and juicy on the inside. and the sauces that came with it! amazing.
and then i had the butter chicken with naan. i have to say first that this chicken is as good as any i have had at tamarind downtown. the naan is actually better than any i have had in the city.
and the staff is wonderful as well. just a lovely experience.

Do not miss this gem of a place when you visit NYC.
-MUST VISIT-
We ordered Vegetarian dishes here - that included Momos, Gobi Manchurian and Thukpa and everything was really delicious.
Momos were fresh and had good flavor. Do note the spice level is high, request to adjust the spice level as per your likings.
Do not miss ordering Wai Wai Sadeku for starters. They taste tangy with good chaat spices.
Recommend this place 10/10.

Went there on a rainy day for jhol momo and it didn’t disappoint. The chowmein was a bit soggy but the taste reminded of it back home. You won’t regret going here for good food and a good time.

Food is the perfect amount of spice. Enough to make my lips tingle. And it is reasonably priced! Ordered the samosa and chicken curry. Ate a whole samosa before I took the video. Delish!

This is my favorite go to Nepali restaurant in Manhattan. I love their vegetable chomein and their momos (steamed, kothe and jhol). Yesterday I was craving jhol momos very badly and didn't have the time or energy to go to Nepali restaurants in Queens so went here. The jhol momos were amazing and very delicious! My friends also love their aloo paratha and vegetable biryani. A must visit when craving momos in Manhattan!

We ordered the Chicken thali and chicken momos, both the items were really good! The thali comes with rice and does not come with any bread, you will have to order it separately. The Gulab Jamun in the Thali was delicious and soft.
Sorry for the photos, these were taken mid-meal.
