Elistway Ace Hardware

I went to Home depot first then Lowes , looking for 2 faucet stems for an older house. Neither had the size I needed and I went to Ace Hardware and I showed the lady the old one and she went over and got them for me and they were the correct ones.
I am an overjoyed customer.

Was able to find a HVAC Starter Capacitor here, when Lowe's or Home Depot did not carry them. Got my A/C working because of them. Thanks!

A sad sign of the times. I have been to an Ace Hardware in Macclenny, Starke, Middleburg, Orange Park, Keystone Heights, Green Cove Springs, and Interlachen. None of them had to require an employee to escort a customer down three short aisles, especially for bolts and screws like what happened today. Of course, I blame the location and not the employees. This is around the same area where I went to a restaurant that had to say their restroom was out of order to keep the riff raff from tearing it up and doing drugs. Same location where movies and deodorant was under lock and key like the cans of spam in New York City today. This is like watching what happens when people California our Florida, and it is very sad to see.

Update: I also hate to play Devil's Advocate as a white man, now realizing the store owner is seemingly of Indian descent and black people are accusing him of being racist. I never had him follow me in the two times I went into the store. I went in there first because I needed M3 socket head bolts for a Belgium created Ghostbusters proton pack and neutrona wand that I was 3D printing for my wife. Yes, I did go beyond the chain, feeling the absurdity of it all and telling myself I'm short on time when a male employee with an orange shirt told me that I needed to be escorted. I did not find the M3 socket head screws that I needed for the neutrona wand even with his help.

After lunch at the Larry's Giant Subs, I went back in to look at a 1/8 inch steel rod that the instructions called for when I remembered I had an 1/8 inch rod at my house. I did buy aluminum screening and an in line fuse holder for the proton pack from this Ace Hardware. I never felt watched or harassed by whom I now know as the owner of the store. I was mainly trying to look for the employee in orange shirt to apologize and show him what I was working on as pictured in this review.

Now for the Devil's Advocate portion mentioned above. The reality hits one hard in the face when they look on Youtube for even just this search query: "Shoplifting San Francisco". How is it racist to point out the certain skin color in the majority of the shoplifters caught on video in just one city? Retail chains have had to close down their stores, prices have risen, and stores have to close early and lock up merchandise in response to these shoplifting attacks in San Francisco and elsewhere. It is just the reality of the situation.

This is the best place for propane. The guy is always so nice, and it's easy!
And you can't beat the price.

I love this Ace Hardware!! It is super clean and organized and they always have anything I'm looking for!! The staff is always very helpful and friendly! It saves me the long trip to Home Depot almost weekly! The owners, Lloyd and Roe are kind hearted, sweet people!! I highly recommend the store!!

We shop here often. The owner and his wife are very kind and helpful. Brandon is a great sales associate. We always go here to shop local and support small business. Everyone on here complaining about them either a) broke their store rules or b) complain about their hours. Their shop their rules!! Love Ace!

We were so pleased with our experience at this Ace. I ordered a grill for my husband for Father’s Day. The owner had it assembled and delivered to me himself at no charge. Everyone was so kind and helpful throughout the entire process. We will definitely be shopping there again!

Went to have our propane tank refilled. Didn't know it had compressed air and water left in it. It was heavy but seemed empty. The man showed us and cleaned it out of the tank before refilling. Now we have a full tank of only propane. Customer service is not dead. Thanks.

My first visit to this store. I was greeted immediately as I came through the door, eager to help and not pushy by trying to get me to buy something else.
They had exactly what I wanted and I was on my way in 10 minutes.

This Ace Hardware is a bit far from my home, but I wouldn't hesitate to travel a few extra miles to shop there.

This place has the feel of a neighborhood hardware store. People working here are friendly and happy to show you to something you want to purchase. They have a great selection of items. Its SO much better shopping here then all the parking, crowds, no help, bad attitudes you get at the big box stores.

Great place very friendly and great service, went in for one thing that they had and was good service that I been back 4 times since will keep going like the service and knowledge they have.

You know ace is the helpful place but the people at this store are amazing! They went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed and when the owner saw I had my hands full with my 3 year old daughter he helped me to the car. Thank you all. Oh yeah it’s nicest cleanest most organized Ace I’ve been into.

The store has just about anything you need in hardware and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. This particular store does not have a garden center but many garden supplies. If you're after plants and seedlings you'll have to go to a ace garden center

Bought a new Stihl chainsaw here last weekend and I was totally impressed with the customer service and product knowledge. After using HD and Lowes for a long time this Ace will be my new go to store.

I found exactly what I needed the customer service is very helpful they did exactly what they needed to do I left that store a very happy customer with everything that I was going in there looking for I give this a full five stars they did their job

They have most anything you need and go out of their way to provide great service. I wish I would've gotten the name of the gentleman who helped me with plumbing on 8/14. He was awesome.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. They always seem to have what I need.
