The Waffle Dude

This dude doesn't just serve breakfast food, he delivers a religious experience. Everything we had was amazing. Bar none, this is the best food in Harpers Ferry (just across the river). The breakfast sandwich was to die for, my kids loved the pancakes, the coffee was delicious, need I say more... Don't let this road side location fool you. This dude is serving up some incredible food. We visited twice in two days and as we left the parking lot, my kids asked when we might be visiting Harpers Ferry again. I'd love to say that was because of their love of history. However, its like the waffles....

Got a sausage waffle sandwich post-hike and it hit the spot. Happy there was a close food stop right after doing Maryland Heights. It was quick and delicious! Also got an iced mocha latte 😋

Just had a waffle, breakfast sausage patty, fried egg and cheese sandwich w maple syrup and it was delicious. Loads of flavor and it really hit the spot. I really liked how he cooked and seasoned the eggs, the sausage was good, the cheese was melty and good, the waffle was slightly crispy with a light sweetness that all came together beautifully. The Waffle Dude is definitely worth checking out. Lots of interesting and tasty looking stuff on the menu. Very good experience and look forward to going again.

We stopped by Sunday morning and were pleased to find delicious coffees, breakfast burritos with all the sauces and even treated ourselves to sweet waffles. How did
the guy get them to be crunchy, flaky and layer-y? I don’t know but they were so, so good. Will definitely come here again on our next hiking trip!

Hot & fresh homemade food from scratch, even better, it’s served with a smile! The Waffle Dude loves what he does and you can really taste that in his food. True culinary craftsmanship, we will be stopping by again! I would encourage you to go out of your way to stop by, it’s more than worth the drive! 10/10 Waffle Dude, keep doing what you love and spreading the good food and joy!

Would like to quote another reviewer to the tune of "holy waffle." Absolutely delicious and well worth a stop if you're in the area. We tried every waffle, and they were all fresh and tasty. Surprisingly delicious! It's one guy so you do have to wait a few minutes but not too long and well worth it! My kiddo got the chocolate chip waffle and I got the full breakfast combo with 2eggs, hash brown, bacon, sausage, and a waffle. I couldn't believe I ate the whole thing! It was delicious on a cold mountain morning. We also got coffee. All the condiments were available for self service. We'll be back there!

Holy waffle. I whipped a U-turn to try this place out and man was that a good decision. I've had the breakfast burrito (perfect and comes with high quality sides of hot sauce, sour cream and salsa) and the sausage waffle sandwich. While eating the sandwich I kept muttering to myself "damn this is good". It looked like a work of art, perfectly cooked egg and all, and tasted out of this world. I need to find more reasons to drive this way. Oh, and the coffee is amazing too!

Today 12/12/21 my husband and I stopped for the 1st time. The owner was kind and helpful. But, most of all his creations were off the hook. I loved my egg, cheese , bacon and waffle sandwich with pure maple syrup. We will drive an hour again to explore his other items on his menu. 10 out of 10 hands down. Sara Nettles

OK, so it's a little non-descript trailer in a tiny parking lot on a somewhat back road in reasonably rural Virginia. But WOW! They're not cheap, but they are soooo worth it. This is fine dining food that you eat at a picnic table across from the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers. The Liege Waffles are amazing. They have a very refined, croissant-like flavor. The breakfast sandwich with "frambled" eggs is out of this world. The only thing that I could find that was less than perfect was the whipped cream (which had a fantastic texture) was not quite as sweet as I like. Luckily, we had some maple syrup left over from the breakfast sandwich, and that did the trick. It took us two years of passing by to find a time when he was open (weekends only until 3:00), but we were damned glad we stopped, and you will be, too. Right between the two bridges on US-340, just outside of Harper's Ferry, WV.

The Waffle Dude has the best breakfast food! Once you try his homemade waffles and pancakes you won’t ever step foot in an IHOP or Waffle House again! Our go to is the liege waffle and cafe mocha but we’ve had almost everything on the menu and you truly can’t go wrong. The Dude has a passion for what he does. Follow him on Instagram to know when he’s around during the week and making his homemade chicken salad sandwich on a waffle! 20/10 everytime!

Love a good breakfast burrito. The waffle sandwiches are aces too. So are the coffee / lattes. All around this is a great quick breakfast or lunch stop on the weekend. Also the dude is very nice.

This is an awesome little spot to stop for breakfast and lunch. I had the sausage breakfast burrito w/ jalapeños, sour cream, salsa and hash browns and it was spot on!! Last time went, I got the liege waffle w/ bacon, egg, and cheese and it was delicious too 😋 highly recommended!

Stop your car. And go get food here. Exceptional. The coffee?? Amazing. His ice cubes are literally coffee. The waffles. AHH they were so good. I will be going every Sunday until I die. Recommend 100%

Delicious waffle breakfast sandwich and hot oat milk latte! So yummy. Definitely will be going again.
