They have done an amazing job with this bike park. Note the parking is a bit up the road from the main ski hill. Friendly staff, well built trails. Nice and quiet. Super fun and excited to go back.

Exceptional Skiing Experience at HoliMont Ski Club, Ellicottville, NY

As someone deeply passionate about skiing and outdoor activities, I've had the pleasure of experiencing many ski resorts in Western New York, but HoliMont Ski Club in Ellicottville stands out as a premier destination. Here's why:

1. Impeccably Maintained Hills: HoliMont's dedication to maintaining their ski hills is evident. The slopes are always in pristine condition, providing a smooth and enjoyable skiing experience. This level of care is especially noticeable compared to other resorts in the area.

2. Diverse Terrain: The variation in terrain across the north to south hills is remarkable. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced skier, HoliMont offers a range of slopes that cater to different skill levels. This diversity keeps the experience fresh and challenging.

3. Exemplary Real Estate and Community: The real estate at HoliMont is top-notch, with a range of options that cater to different tastes and preferences. The sense of community here is strong, fostering a warm and welcoming environment that enhances the overall experience.

4. First-Class Lodge and Amenities: The lodge at HoliMont is a standout feature. It’s not just a place to rest but a hub of social interaction and relaxation. The amenities are all top-notch, providing comfort and luxury that complement the skiing experience.

5. Accessibility and Exclusivity: One of the unique aspects of HoliMont is its accessibility to the public during weekdays, while reserving the weekends for members only. This approach offers a perfect balance, allowing the general public to enjoy the slopes while still maintaining an air of exclusivity for the members.

6. The Overall Experience: Every visit to HoliMont is memorable. The combination of excellent skiing conditions, diverse terrain, quality real estate, and top-tier amenities creates an unparalleled skiing experience. The welcoming community adds to the charm, making it more than just a ski resort - it's a place where memories are made.

In conclusion, HoliMont Ski Club is a gem in Western New York. Whether you're there for a day trip or as a regular member, the experience is always exceptional. It's a testament to how a ski club should operate, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality skiing and a fantastic community atmosphere.

We had a great family ski day at Holimont!
We rented all our gear and the ski shop staff were helpful and efficient.
The skiing was great for April and the operational staff clearly put their heart into giving everyone the best possible skiing experience.
Great Apres scene after skiing with some nice food and beverage options.
Parking is limited here so arrive early if you want a spot!
We look forward to our next experience at Holimont Ski Club!

Went here as part of the Ski and Stay package with the Wingate hotel. We had a phenomenal experience! The trails were perfectly groomed, wait times for lifts were under five minutes, the slopes were so uncrowded at times it felt like it was just you and Mother Nature.

But one of the most impressive things were the prices for food and drinks. Most ski resorts price gauge you, but we paid $20 for nachos, a chicken sandwich, and slice of pie for lunch, and then just $11 for a very full beer and glass of wine.

Ps: don’t miss the après-ski party in the main lodge once the lifts close! Live music, byob, byo-charcuterie, dancing, kids sledding on the hills, and more.

It is a great place to break up your time in EVL if you're skiing for a few days. Open to the public Mon-Fri. A good mix of runs. Wasn't busy at all on the Friday I visited. I snapped a nice pic of town from the top.

Snow was soft and quality was very good.
Not many people so we can enjoy skiing as much as we can.
Workers were friendly and professional.
They have different course level we can enjoy.
A bit pricy, but it's worth visiting there.

Lovely private, local ski club located in Ellicottville. Holimont is well taken care of and well groomed. The trails are always perfect and powdery. Since there is no night skiing available the snow isn’t super packed down. The staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Since this is a private club it definitely feels like it’s own community and seems very family oriented. When I have gone there aren’t wild and rowdy teens which is a plus.

The good news is that on weekdays anyone can buy a pass to check out this awesome place. You can buy online to get a small discount. I have only gone during the week and there haven’t been serious crowds or lines. I am not sure about the weekends but since it’s members only I’m sure it’s not nearly as busy as some of the other local public resorts.

The lodges are cozy and accommodating. There is now a cafeteria here in the main lodge which has plenty to choose from. You are also free to bring your crockpots or picnic style lunches to enjoy. There are tons of indoor and outdoor seating options, many large grills for anyone to use and a cool fire pit to sit and relax. There are rentals, lessons and a specialty adaptive ski program available.

During covid masks were worn inside and outside and this was enforced by staff. Hand sanitizing stations were set up all over. There was also a large, outdoor, well ventilated tent this year to provide extra seating during covid.

Another fun perk that makes this place unique is there are many gorgeous homes on the hills and around the trails. It’s fun to see them when you are on the lift and skiing down the hills.

So fun! Our daughter is in the adaptive ski program and it's worth the trip up to be able to have a family activity we can all take part in!

First time here. This place is totally headed in the right direction. They were a little short on lifts for the bikes (which is in the process of being fixed) but other than the lift wait, the trails are being built in great fashion! Berms flow with the travel speed, features flow with bike speeds perfect. Soooo much potential at this park. And word on the street is, they are going to put fourth the effort!! Super excited!!!

What is not to like about skiing in good conditions all things considered, on some of the best slopes in the area, with no lift lines? The Holimont facilities are great, feels like skiing 20 plus years ago, but with the modern attributes.

Outstanding small ski area. Tried it for the first time today - very friendly, civilized staff and skiers. No lines for lifts and wide open uncrowded slopes. Facilities are nice, well maintained, thoughtfully laid out. Great terrain. Very reasonable prices for weekday (non-member) skiing and snacks in the lodge. Good terrain and natural & man-made snow. No wind and NO ICE at all today - perfect ski day.

Best grooming and snowmaking in Western New York. A beautiful, semi-private ski area open to the public Mon-Fri and non holiday times. Hi speed quad lifts, friendly and polite staff, uncrowded slopes and trails for all skier abilities, a rustic main lodge with an excellent, full service cafeteria, or you can bring your own food and use one of their 5 outdoor gas grills to cook your steaks or burgers....and you can bring your own alcoholic beverages. You can also rent slopeside accommodations if you want to stay for a few days in close proximity to the center of Ellicottville, a true ski town, with shopping and eateries for your apre' ski adventures.
