A go-to when I visit Austin! Love how everything I've tried has been absolutely yummy and not expensive at all. Bonus points for the staff being welcoming and sweet. Even though this place can get pretty busy, they always keep it well stocked! I recognize literature anything with the Hokkaido custard!

Lovely bakery. Delicious pastries 🥐 and desserts. The place is normally crowded most of the time. My recommendation is to arrive early in order to choose between all the different options of pastries 🥮 they offer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went on a Saturday. It was really busy but the bakery items stayed stocked and the cashiers were so friendly and fast. The bread was definitely pillow soft.

85°C became my favourite coffee shop when I visited China, so I was thrilled to find out it has branches in Austin and definitely had to visit it while there.
And it did not disappoint. The pastries (sweet and salty) were as good as I remember them. Fluffy, not too sweet, a perfect delight.
The drinks were also great.
Highly recommended.

This bakery consistently impresses. From cakes and drinks to both sweet and savory treats, everything is of the highest quality. Their offerings are light with distinctive flavors, and the service is swift. The branch at the airport stands out in the city. I'm particularly addicted to their milk raisin bun. It's a good idea to drop by at least an hour before they close, as their items tend to sell out fast.

This is the best chain of Asian bakery. It's a 2 hour drive from my house but so so worth it. First, this is my first time at this location but I frequented one in Orange County when I lived there two years ago. The concept is the exact same.
So I loaded up my tray with a ton of baked goods. I always buy a ton of the egg tarts. They are so creamy! The red bean paste filled buns are also so good. The softness of the bread seems unreal. They are reasonably priced (about $2.50 a bun) and just so fantastic. I also love their drink selections. I recommend the mango slush!
The staff is always so friendly and willing to help you select the perfect treat.

The person who helped my brother and I today has amazing customer service! I believe his name was Timmy, I'm not quite sure. But he was an extremely patient and nice person. Overall wonderful experience. The sea salt caramel iced coffee is amazing btw

My kids loved this place, and the prices are perfect for my tiny budget. I got the taro lavender tea with oat milk and boba... it's my one indulgence that I cant pass up, freaking delicious. I had the strawberry matcha with oat milk too, very rich and a perfect balance of flavors.

One of the greatest places I have ever been. Bake goods, hot or cold tea, coffee, Boba tea. Seating, restrooms, and employees are polite. Customers are respectful. Everything is displayed & wrapped. Grab a tray upon entering then grab your favorite bread treats, and go pay. Don't forget your hot or cold tea or coffee. I've returned to this place about twice the pleasure was all mine.

Such a great experience! Was able to get in and out super quick. They had a delicious selection of fresh pastries, breads, and tarts and I was definitely able to make off with everything I wanted! Staff was also great when checking out. Can’t wait for my next trip.

Went there yesterday with my friend for the first time. The place is so cute. It seems to be busy all the time. We got different pastries and milk tea. I loved their boba milk tea, I had to take one to go for my husband to try because it was so delicious. We also got the chocolate croissant, cream cheese brioche, mochi egg tart, regular egg tart, and coffee pastry. Of course we took most of them to go, they’re so delicious, some of them still taste good the next day. Will definitely be back, and will always recommend, everything taste so fresh and good. Everyone is nice and friendly. And it has a casual atmosphere. Great place.

1st visit - Jan 11, 2024
Jim #1 - he REALLY is #1. When we walked in there were no less than 12 people waiting in line. A couple minutes later when we chose our goodies and were turning around to (what we THOUGHT was) wait in line - the line was gone! We walked up and put 7 items on the counter and he knows his inventory well enough that he gave us the total cost immediately. And he had a great smile as well. The food is good, the service was great. Cute place, cute location. We will go back.

Huge variety of pastries to choose from. The quality and taste is consistent with other 85°C we've visited. Very good.

We ordered Egg Tarts, Mangotale, Cheese Dog, Chocolate Cookie Bread, Coconut Twist, and Spinach Danish. 👍🏻👍🏻

Why can't San Antonio have THIS bakery?!?! Every time we go to Austin we come home with lots of goodies from here. We love all the variety. Everything is individually wrapped and tastes fresh. Their drinks are good too...boba is the right consistency. We all get one for the drive back. Great service and clean store. Definitely worth a visit!

I have no idea why I have never tried out this place earlier. The bakery area has lots of options and for a very good price. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I left with after only spending like $10~.

I’m annoyed because I don’t remember what bakery item I grabbed that was really good, but it was like some type of butter croissant, bread thingy. I wish I grabbed more of those lol.

10/10

I finally found a bakery in Austin that has the perfectly crafted, out of this world cakes and pastries. It’s quite a drive from my house but I will even walk to this place for the deliciousnesses. My son’s new favorite and mine too…

Plus their cakes feel so light on body and soul…Thanks to the one who bakes these beauties.

Came here after visiting their sister location farther out near H-Mart Lakeside. It was late and as expected they were out of many things since most of their items are baked fresh daily.

…but there was only one item I needed and that was their yummy egg tarts.

Today I tried their other creation, the mochi egg tart. It was, hard to describe, still good, but, not as good as the original. It’s definitely a different texture than the original. I would recommend this to people who love mochi and liked the original egg tart, but want something less sweet.
