Attentive, polite and knowledgeable Quick turnaround and great work. Also worked with Jake on deciding between used and new boots. Appreciated his honesty and expertise. I took my son's baseball glove there to get another one before the game because I needed something quick. They restrung my old glove in five minutes for $10. This was a lifesaver...

I came to get a glove restrung. They couldn’t get it done within a window that worked for us, being in the middle of fall ball. Rather than telling me tough luck, the manager gave me suggestions for the type of needle I’d need to do it myself. They estimated how much lace I would need, and had a bunch of different colored laces. I restrung the glove and had fun doing it. I ended up going back for more laces so I could restring his first base glove as well. Thanks for the tips!

The owner Chris of play it again sports in Frederick is awesome! I had mentioned to him I was looking for a pair of quad skates and he said he would keep an eye out for me. Well months later he shows up with a pair in good condition, perfect size and all. I just couldn’t believe he had remembered. It really meant a lot to me because growing up skating it brought me so much happiness and joy, I can’t wait to get back at it! Thank you!

This store is the best! My daughters Lax stick needed a small restring repair the night before a playoff game. We called, the turned it around in 30 min or less! When we went to pick it up , they didn’t even charge us. We go here all the time for stringing , love this business, hence why we keep returning!

Really enjoy going to this store; felt like leaving a review was worthwhile! Store is clean, organized, and well-kept. Had a wide variety of merchandise; lots of both used AND new merch available. Staff was very friendly and helpful when we were searching for lax gear to fit my rapidly-growing son. On a separate occasion they restrung my daughter’s lax stick for free. Highly recommend.

Needed a helmet for our son. Got help within 10 seconds and got us in and out with a trade in within a few minutes. Excellent customer service and pricing!

They generally have a pretty terrific assortment of used shoes ball gloves bats equipment bags and all kinds of other stuff. If you're in a cage and a player, I don't want to break the bank outfitting yourself then this is the place where you should go to. They're small, but typically well-run franchises. The one in Frederick here has very helpful persons working there who know their way around sporting equipment. Was fun talking with them and they represent well. I've been to this particular place at least 10 times and will continue to come back. Absolutely worth the trip. And when you have kids that grow in and out of Footwear and equipment by all means come here first. Don't be too proud to save some money. Absolutely worth the trip, two thumbs up. And yes - they have a lot of brand new stuff that's the route you want to go.

The store managers to cover a lot of sports all in one location. The neat thing is, they have a whole lot of used items. If your parent and you have kids who are still growing, getting shoes baseball bats gloves Etc without paying list price gets to be important. But if you need new stuff, they have that too. With a staff that knows its stuff, it's not hard to get in and save money while meeting your athletic needs. I've been a customer here for almost 10 years. I've been to this particular store probably 25 times. Well worth the trip, two thumbs up

Lots of used equipment and staff was friendly. I was there looking for Ski equipment, of which they had a lot of good quality skis. Their boot selection was large, but mostly very low quality boots.

Great prices on some weights I needed. Some people are taking advantage of the situation charging 2$ a lb. For weights but they only charged me .67 cents a lb. Of course the selection was super limited but worked out for me.

very helpful. my son was looking for some lacrosse gear as he plays football and his coach told him lacrosse was a good sport to help with his footwork. the staff on duty were very helpful is picking out some equipment.
