Today I had a great experience visiting this post office. I was helped by Veronica who was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. If you are in the area and need to work with a nice quaint postal service, I highly recommend coming to this one.

The BEST post office ever! Me and my daughter made frequent trips to this post office to drop off packages and the ladies at the counter always greeted us and made our day! They are great at their jobs, friendly, helpful and go above and beyond. We are moving and are truly going to miss going there!

The ladies at the front are amazing! Maria helped me through mailing some documents since it was my first time at the post office. She is very patient and welcoming.

Really impressed by the service I received at this location earlier today. I showed up to send off a passport renewal package. Without my asking, both women on staff at the time went through my materials to make sure I had what I needed and that everything was assembled properly (staples in the right places, proper documents paperclipped, etc.) and that I had selected the proper way to send off my materials. I was very touched by their attention to detail and grateful for a few things they pointed out I needed to fix that I had missed! Fingers crossed for a smooth process on the passport office front, but wanted to give a shout-out to this USPS location and particularly to the two female staff members who assisted me today.

This is the BEST post office location I have been to. Staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. I typically dread going to the post office, but this location changed my mind. I will go out of my way to use this post office for all future mailing needs. Keep up the great work!

I love this Post Office. Lennea is amazing and so personable. She need an on the spot bonus! Now that she have help, all the women are very knowledgeable and friendly. They’re like family to me and it’s such a blessing with so many bad things going on in the world. One day I left my purse rushing to get to the Post Office before it closed. I didn’t realize it until my package was rung up. The young lady behind the counter paid out of her pocket. I was so embarrassed, but she assured me it was ok. I returned the money the next day. This is and have always been my favorite Frederick MD Post Office. Thank you, Ladies.

One of the best USPS locations in the country. Friendly folks, knowledgeable on the cheapest shipping options (even cubic shipping using ‘box in a bag’ for heavier items), and a pretty low stress environment at the counter. Nice relaxed, country scenery outside too.

I really like this post office! You get a personal one-on-one experience and they're very helpful when it comes to how to best pack & ship your package (will even help find a box for you!), as well as figuring out what's the least expensive way to ship it. Even when the line gets a little long they handle it with humor & professionalism.

The only thing to be aware of is that they close down for lunch from 1-2pm which isn't noted online.

The best USPS office I've ever dealt with. Attentive, knowledgeable and will go out of their way to assist you with all your need.

To the haters: Good luck finding better service anywhere else!

Phenomenal staff, clean location, and great service. I go out of my way to bring my business here because I know this "administration" would rather see essential, Constitutional services like this go bankrupt all because of their business with Amazon. Going through USPS is a now a political statement.

I have never actually been to this Post Office in person, because I live out in Chicago, but I dealt with one of its employees over the phone and it was one of the most helpful experiences I've ever had with the United States Postal Service. A customer of mine was waiting on a package that was supposed to be coming through this postal facility, but it had been several days since any further tracking occurred.

I called the Buckeystown post office to see if they could offer any additional information and the gentleman I spoke with took time to work with me. He looked in their system and tried to figure out what issue was causing the delay. Although he was not actually able to provide any additional information (he was just as perplexed as I), I really appreciated him actually taking the time to try and help.

The real kicker that made the experience so great was that he actually called back the following week to give me an update. He had been following the tracking number on his end and noticed that the package did eventually end up getting delivered. I really didn't expect him to follow back up with me, but thought that was awesome! I'm sad to say I didn't catch his name, but if every employee that worked for the USPS was like him, I'd be much more inclined to ship through them exclusively.
