Beautiful farm, some of the nicest people on earth that own it. You get a wonderful tour of the farm with lots of information about all the animals. The animals are just as sweet and nice as the owners. We got to pet and feed treats to all of them. You can tell right away that all of the animals are very well cared for and loved. This is a great place to take your kids or just go because you love animals. You will not be disappointed. I will be going back very soon.

We visited Kiwidinok Farm while in the area on a weekend getaway recently and highly recommend it! The owners, Jim and Dawn, have put a lot of love and hard work into this farm and the animals are absolutely delightful. We loved being greeted by Billy Bob the turkey and learning all about the many different animals. Dawn led our tour and was so knowledgeable. Their main focus is Yaks (they’re in the same family as cows, from the Himalayan region) but they have tons of other beautiful animals too! They have put a ton of time and effort into socializing the animals and giving them top notch care so that all can come enjoy and learn on the farm. This would be a great place for kids to visit - the animals were gentle and Dawn gave us good tips on how to interact/feed each one. Also, we were amazed at how the place didn’t even really smell at all or seem dirty (I mean it is a farm after all, haha)! They were doing a Christmas themed tour when we visited and we really enjoyed it. Plus, you can’t beat the price of only $10! It included the full tour and plenty of treats for each animal we visited. There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase various goodies or souvenirs. It felt good supporting a local farm/family and all these wonderful animals. We will definitely return if we’re in the area again!

What a treasure! If your looking to kill some time and pet some furry ( and feathery) friends this is the place! The owners were such great host and provide a great experience as they guide you around the farm. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Nothing short of incredible! What a great farm tour. We went a couple of weekends ago and didn’t have a reservation. They were so accommodating to get us on a tour. The Yak were definitely my favorite. My family will go on this tour again.

Love you to the yak n bak was such a wonderful experience. Getting to spend time with the animals more one on one was so special. Even general admission on any given day would be a memorable outing. Jim is an excellent host, very knowledgeable about practical information about his animals as well as anecdotal stories of their history with humans.. I can't say enough about what a great experience it was to spend time with the animals.. It felt really affordable in today's expensive world. If you're working hard to stretch your funds, this place is bang for your buck. And if you find yourself as we did thinking the price of admission was fairly low, you can always bring cash and leave an extra tip. The good lord knows animal feed isn't cheap. Check out kwidinok. You won't regret it.

I cannot recommend this place enough. We were looking for something to do one day on a family vacation and found this place online and it was about an hour away. When we got there a family was leaving and the boy told us that it was a really fun place and he was not wrong. I am so glad we found it. We had a fantastic time. There were 8 adults and 3 kids and all of us had a great time. Jim was amazing and you can tell how all the animals are loved and well taken care of. The highlight was definitely seeing Hansel and Gretel the 2 nine day old baby goats. But all the animals were amazing to see and get close to, pet, and feed and learn so much about. Definitely check this place out.

My husband and I took my almost 3 yr old son here and had a great time. I love how the couple that owns it know their animals. They put so much thought into the entire farm and it’s fabulous. We got to go into pastures with the yaks and that was an experience like no other. We will definitely be back!

Billy Bob!!!! When we pulled up and we were greeted by Billy Bob the turkey. He came right up to us and was puffing his chest and ruffling his feathers. We didn’t know what to make of it. But don’t be fearful as he’s the star of the show and is just showing off! He followed us all around and loved getting pettings. The tour was great and the hosts were so nice and super informative. Must stop and see!!!!

Highly recommend for kids of all ages!
Everyone is super friendly, especially the animals. My 6 year old loved the baby goats and talked about them the rest of the day. Really cool that we were able to pet and feed the yaks. Plus they have some awesome meat and woolen goods in the gift shop. We’ll be back!

Over 5 stars easily. This is by far one of the BEST petting farms I’ve ever been to!! Pet a free roaming turkey, held baby goats, spent time directly interacting with a 10 day old foal and his mom, roamed with the alpaca, and gave yaks lots of good scratches. It just kept getting better and better. Learned a lot about the farm on our visit, too! These animals are very well cared for and you can tell - they give back all the love and affection they’ve received. Major hidden gem in Northern Michigan being over looked for sure. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out, and you need to stop by.

Such and amazing petting farm! You can tell the owners truly care about their animal. They walk you around the farm letting you give the animals snack. Not your typical petting farm

We found the Kiwidinok Petting Farm on a whim and it ended up being a hidden gem for us and our guests! Jim and Dawn were kind, knowledgeable and clearly love their animals! We had the chance to pet and learn on a beautiful summer day. Our kids learned to gently approach the animals and how to feed and even pet them. We just loved Billy Bob the Turkey who was showing off as we walked the farm. We will be back!

This couple restored my faith in humanity. We live in Chicago and took over my father in laws condo in Boyne city after his passing so visit Up
North periodically. I am constantly googling fun things to do with my toddler and came across this farm. My husband had a work call so I figured why not check it out and I am so thankful I did! My son has not stopped talking about it since we’ve left (which is really cute but kinda annoying 🙃) “I scared of the turkey but I like the horsey. Horsey not scary”.

But this couple is everything! They are a dynamic duo and Americas sweetest. They are hardworking, kind, patient, honest and just good ole folks! They let my son feed the animals, and go up on a huge tractor which made his whole life! Please visit this farm and support this wonderful couple if you are ever in the area! It was a wonderful experience and I think I might have a farmer on my hands…since he’s already up with the roosters, I might just drop him off and have them put him to work 😉

God bless you and your sweet animals. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We will be back soon!

We had an amazing experience with Jim at Kiwidinok! He gave us a personal tour and lots of information about each animal. When he found out it was our daughter’s birthday, he made sure she was able to feed each animal and enjoyed her time. A great visit, we will be back!

Wow! What a great experience! The owners are very attentive and the animals are so sweet and friendly! It is clear that these owners know their animals, and the animals are very friendly! Our favorite was the turkey, Billy Bob, who followed us around like a dog! It was a hit for kids and adults alike.

We had a family trip to Boyne and found the farm to take our 6 grandchildren (5 and under). The animals were so healthy and people friendly. The owners were genuinely caring and knowledgeable. The farm is so clean and the animals so loved. The owners really like showing them off and teaching about them.
