Old Cuban Cafe Express

I enjoy coming here the food is very clean and great quality , the flavors are flavorful but not overwhelming. May the lord continue to bless the hands that prepare these foods. Last week I was $1.65 cents short the cashier covered me , so today I paid it back cus I had it . Any way today I ordered fish with yuca and salad , I feel so happy and the food is so whole some… also I know some reviewers mention the employees , especially the ones doing the bakery section be having stank attitude. I don’t think is that , remember every one is different ( I’m not making excuses) I get it. Sometimes some of them come of as rude but I doubt it’s intentional and even if it is, it’s up to each one of us to stay graceful and hope we can bring them joy just like how their service and great food brings us joy.🥹 🥰🤭🤓💕💕💕

This was my first time here I'm not from here I live in another state I was visiting my girlfriend's family she's Spanish and of course they are too. I'm am not. I really like this place the food the sweets are delicious and the people are friendly. I'll definitely be back next time I'm here.

Stumbled upon this place but so glad I did. Plenty of seating delicious food and pastries and friendly staff. They converted an old gas station into a café. Highly recommend. Very affordable too

5 Star all around. I live in upstate NY and my first time coming here was about 3 years ago. I usually come to FL every year and I make it out to the restaurant every time. It has a very homey atmosphere, everyone is very nice and attentive and omgggg la comida!!! Deliciosa!!!!! I always get the Morro rice with baked chicken or bbq chicken. I HIGHLY recommend. Good food portions. Perfect restaurant for the whole family. Thank you :)

Has a bakery food is fresh for they have lots of traffic so it keeps coming out fresh, everyone is friendly food comes to ur plate hott,,,,,lots to choose from we really had the craving for Oxtail but it we got there too late, and it was just 1230p and food was that good that didnt come out our system like every over place we went to eat the whole week we were on vacation! Definitely recommend coffee is also good aswell!

Truly an exhilarating experience. The culture within that restaurant has provided my family and I with such a great history of the Cuban culture. I loved the food and the staff was exceptionally kind. However do not forget to get there early! The food goes quick and the line is out the door 🚪 !!! By the time you leave this place, you’ll wish you were an empanada.

This place is awesome. Wide variety or meats, rice and sides. Portions are good and it's a great value! I'd eat here every day if I could!

Immediately after I landed in Orlando, I told my friend to take me to the best Cuban food in Orlando and we ended up here. I liked it so much we ate twice in three days and once you see the amount of food they give you you’ll understand what a feat that is!! I tried as many different items as I could and I’m convinced that nothing here is bad. Everything I ate was delicious and had me humming happily while eating.

The cortadito had me seeing sounds and hearing colors lol. I stopped drinking coffee for health reasons but this was much needed.I’m a big guy but I ate half a sandwich for breakfast saved other half for later I did the same with some pastries yes big portions.

This is one of my favorite places, it doesn't have great atmosphere but it is clean and neat. The service is probably great if you speak Spanish unfortunately I do not so it mainly consists on pointing at what I want and saying yes and no a lot. But I don't care.. the food is amazing and I will point all day long to get my black beans and rice 🤤🤤🤤

The place is old, as the name says it. But this media noche sandwich was sooooo good! Better than any Miami one I have tried. Black beans taste just like home too! And the tamal was also very tasty. And friendly staff. Worth ignoring how run down the place looks and coming everyday 😄

This is the new location of the old Cuban cafe. Just like the original the food is very authentic and the portions are very generous.
The new location has plenty of parking covered and uncovered. The service is fast and friendly just like the the original location.
The coffee bar is has an abundance to offer that goes well with a cortadito or cafe Americans.
There are plenty of seating indoors or out weather permitting. There are other Latin restaurants located on old gas stations, this one is Cuban cuisine the others are Puerto Rican.
Of you have a urge for a Cuban sandwich or Cuban cuisine, head down to this location or the original location on Goldenrod and Colonial Blvd.

Awesome place. They Have an excellent variety of food to chose from. Their natural orange juice is made right in front of you. Prices are great and people is very friendly. The wait time is minimum and the flavors are worth it. They also count with a variety of delicious pastries. Absolutely recommend this place!!

Love the early morning vibe here! Have to bring my esposo! Food was great ladies all smiling ..great seeing the men sitting alfresco enjoying their colado? So cool! You may want to put some english translation on your menu board for non spanish speaking people!

This place has great food that everyone should try. I decided to go for breakfast and got the extra super (delicious) cuban sandwich which was much more than I could handle in one go. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and sweet just as it should. The empanadas were amazing and the food they serve for lunch looked delicious as well. No wonder the parking lot is always crowded. The price was another great surprise considering the amount of things ordered. Hope they keep it this way for a long time.

Oh, I love this place. I feel like it’s hard for me to find good Spanish food and their prices are amazing. I literally live in New York and already planning to eat there. The food is authentic. Lots of flavor!! lots of variety. It’s a hit every time.

Usually when an eatery is in an old converted gas station, the prices will not only be very fair but the food will also be very good. That's certainly the case here. And when the customers are actually from the place that the cuisine is from (in this case Cuban), that's a testament to its authenticity. That also seems to be what's going on here. Another plus? No tourists overcrowding this joint; which speaks volumes when you're talking about an Orlando business. Cuban sandwiches, coffee, and pastries along with Cuban staples such as rice, beans, oxtail, pernil, and plantains are just some of the items offered daily here. Most of the entree pricing is weight based. Definitely worth your time and money.
