I just left this particular post office and the service I received was phenomenal! I don't know the name of the mail worker who helped me, but she was great! I was able to send my package in the package that it came in, the package was for someone else who doesn't live near me. All around great service, I'm still wondering why this post office doesn't deliver my mail.

The staff at this post office are always super friendly- even at the end of the day. Scott is excellent- he goes above and beyond. My ID was found outside the post office and he put it in the mail the same day so I would get it back. Thank you to this office for being good people!

So I go to this post office today... And I just thank God that there are good post offices and good customer service employees at this office I have been to this post office before and it's always excellent service and they are always helpful I have to make sure to take a good survey on this post office in West Haven because it is excellent I have been here before it's just always excellent I recommend coming here if you live in the area I would have put 10 starts if they had it especially since I had a bad experience just the day before a New Haven do not go to New Haven post office especially the one on Chapel Street they will do nothing for you! But this one will do everything for you and West Haven with a smile and quick and helpful service thank you West Haven post office and thank you for the good customer service! 😇👍💭😍📨📩✉💗💌

When the regular mail delivery person was here, mail was here like clockwork 10 am or a little after. Now she has to take some personal time off, and I don't get my mail. I am upset, because I'm expecting some important mail. I can't wait for her to return. I understand with the lack of workers, it must be hard finding qualified employees, but lots of people depend on the postal service for important packages. So with that being said, I just have to be patient and trust our neighborhood post office.

Needs better staff

Always a long line and not enough employees. Employees are slow too. People have things to do, places to go and schedules. This is why people get annoyed. I came here today to send a rent check, they open at 8 am, but the window didn't open until 8:30. One guy behind me sighed twice and and checked his watch, I don't blame him. I only go here because it's close.

Had two appointments for photo and passport service. Upon arriving we were told their camera is broken- they continie to say they will honor the appointments (4 people in total) if we go to CVS (few mins away) and get the pictures. We agreed. Seconds later, they said only one person could do the passport application when we come back because she (CSR) would be all by herself and cannot do all four. I asked what about if no other customer is there at the time we come back? (It normally not as busy) She still responded, no I would only do one! Call USPS to see what they can do and all they did was apologize for the inconvenience. 😡

I went here to send out a package to my mom the workers was very rude and slow they told me I needed to tape my box so they handed me tape and I taped it. When I gave it to them they was mad that I used priority tape when I never even asked for that I just needed regular tape the lady gave me an attitude when it wasn’t my fault that she handed me the wrong tape I didn’t send my package anymore I don’t think anyone should go here
