Northgate Diner

These are my favorite kind of restaurants just a little place along the road side, but what excellent food. I had a Phillies cheesesteak. It was very great tasting. Frank had chop steak with onions and mashed potatoes. Melt in your mouth goodness. I would highly recommend the place. The staff is very friendly. Just good food.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Georgia. The eggs were farm fresh and cooked perfectly. The home fries with peppers and onions were good as well. We had great service, too.

This was our first time here, but definitely will not be our last. The did was amazing as was the service.
I got the patty melt and fried corn nuggets. Best patty melt I have ever had. The corn nuggets were also very good.
My wife had a house salad with chicken. She said it was the best chicken she has ever had. It was very juicy and flavorful.
We cannot wait to go back and try some more of their menu.

Awesome place to check out when going for breakfast and lunch. Service done quick and respectfully with the quality of food being awesome and ready to eat. As for the atmosphere, the place is neatly setup towards decoration which is specifically shown during Christmas as of making this review. Done neatly and deserves more reputation for some people to give a try.

Good ol' country cooking at reasonable prices, served by friendly folks! You won't leave hungry, that's for sure.

Our group of 5 had breakfast here on a Tuesday morning in April 2023. Our server was nice and offered up a few suggestions at our request. If you're feeling frisky, try your biscuits or country fried steak "Train Wreck" style: topped with 2 eggs, cheese, peppers, onions and sausage gravy. Both of the guys who got the grits had high praise, so give them a shot for sure.

We'll definitely be back again and can highly recommend this place!

Nothing to say negative in any way. Our waitress was awesome the food was plentiful and cooked well. The best part for us was the Christian decor and atmosphere. Very refreshing to have a business of any kind show a belief in the lord. Will definitely be returning❤

First Impressions:

We finally made it and it's kind of sad to say because we literally live a couple of blocks from here lol

Anyway, my husband and I ordered breakfast since we haven't had any and I have to say that my 1st impression walking in was a very clean diner with very friendly staff. I love that they serve everybody coffee in a different mug like you're at someone's cozy home. The coffee was really good and not burnt at all which in some diners happen to have cause is just sittin on the warmer.

WHAT WE ORDERED:

My husband ordered the eggs and country fried steak with gravy and hashbrowns. He says it was the most tender country fried steak he'd eaten in a while at a restaurant and the gravy with sausage was real good.

I ordered the eggs with corn beef hash and home fries. The corned beef hash was pretty good although they did over cook a little bit of it (crunchy) but it wasn't too terrible. The home fries were actually delicious perfectly crispy on the outside and real tender on the inside.

We both ordered biscuits with our dishes and we have to say that unfortunately the biscuits were dried out at the bottom almost like they were sitting on hot plate too long but the inside was pretty moist; still it's just a shame the bottom was pretty hard.

We ordered a short stack to share but took it home we were so stuffed lol but after trying then their pancakes are really fluffy and moist.

Over all, we enjoyed it and will be back! 🙃

Worth a detour. Was looking for lunch and saw the parking lot full of pickup trucks and knew it was going to be good. Full menu of breakfast and lunch favorites, but look for the daily specials. I had the beef tips with noodles - just like mama made them! Friendly, attentive staff. I will definitely try to get back soon!

Awesome and friendly service. The food is right for the money. Good down home people. They have awesome shrimp. All you can eat on Fridays.

I ordered the meat lovers omelette and it was delicious. Service was excellent!
Diner was clean and orderly.
The counter/bar wasn’t deep enough to keep your knees from hitting the wall. Better to sit in a booth or table.

I love Northgate diner the food is always good it's always come to the table warm and the waitress is very nice and patient as I did not know what to order they always have specials and the waitress suggested that we take the special that they had for breakfast the food was very warm I had a Pepsi the silverware was clean plenty of napkins are on the table the waitress was very knowledgeable and the meals are always hot The waitresses are always friendly and the meals are very reasonable it's very close to our home we go there usually on the weekend which is very crowded but the roaches are absolutely fantastic they are fast and the food is warm and reasonably

I loved the breakfasts, the large portions and the good prices, even though there were a lot of customers, the service was quick.

I LOVE Northgate Diner! I've been eating here since before they moved to this new location! Everyone is ALWAYS so sweet, helpful, and friendly! The food is always SOOOOOOOO GOOD and you won't break the bank having a delicious meal! If you haven't been there before and breakfast and lunch are your thing you gotta give'em a try trust me you won't regret it! 10/10 HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've come here a couple times and I've always had a smile leaving here. a bit pricey but the amount of food and quality justify it. wonderful and friendly staff as well as neat advertising

It was my first time eating here and it was fricken AWESOME!!! YOU must try them out if you don't it's your own damn fault.

Just had a late lunch today at this place and had one of the most amazing omelettes ever... The gator tail omelette. Great Service!
