I recently had the pleasure of experiencing top-notch service at Global Computer Consultants, all thanks to their exceptional computer expert, Robert. After being recommended to him by another computer expert, I decided to reach out to Robert when I encountered an issue with my beloved MacBook Pro.

From the moment I contacted Robert, it was evident that I was in good hands. As a fellow engineer, I appreciated his prompt response and willingness to lend his expertise. I described the problem I was facing with my MacBook, specifically a broken cable latch, and even shared images for a clearer understanding.

Robert's professionalism and deep understanding of MacBooks shone through as he provided invaluable advice on how to address the issue. His guidance proved instrumental in resolving the problem, ultimately breathing new life into my MacBook.

In my 20 years of having computers, surrounded by family and friends who are all very experienced in building / repairing computers, I never thought I would need to seek out a PC repairman. However, there is a first for everyone...
We had tried everything with my computer, replaced the most important parts on it, tried everything one by one, getting to the point where I had started to build an entire new computer. BUT, even building a new computer wouldn't solve my problem. Throwing our hands up in the air in fits of frustration, I looked for the computer repair shop closest to me with solid reviews.
Roger was an extreme amount of help. Kept me updated constantly VIA text on what he was doing. Sending images, videos (my Motherboard was sparking, you can check it out!) What was originally diagnosed as the most simple solution, a missing plug, turned into wires being shorten all over the place. Roger ran into problems with my computer left and right, it was almost as if the PC gods said no to this very specific build of a custom computer. But he fixed it in the end, after countless hours.
He charged me an extremely fair price considering how much he had to do. Charging me for probably 1/3 of the amount of work he had done. I spent more money trying to fix it myself compared to how much I spent on him. I will say, it is a bit on the high end for cost, so if you are on a very tight budget, I would potentially recommend something like Geek Squad. But they'll probably tell you a bunch of "you need this and that because we can't figure out the problem and diagnose you with BUILD A NEW PC".
If you think it's a quick fix, bring it to him for sure. He can fix any normal problem in less than 30 minutes probably. If you think your computer has turned against you, bring that monstrosity to him like I did.

Youtube can make you feel really confident until the moment of truth. When that moment came I decided to take it to a pro. Robert was friendly, professional, and a huge help with my computer needs. He also delivered ahead of schedule! Will absolutely be using him again in the future.

I would highly recommend Global Computer Consultants for repairing your computer. Robert repaired my computer with a 24 hr. turn around and I was very satisfied with his service. He is very experienced and went above and beyond my expectations. A plus was the price was affordable and worth every penny.

I would highly recommend Robert! He took me last minute over the holidays and was very accommodating. He immediately took steps to rectify my hacked Macbook Air and provided stronger virus protections and recommended a good VPN service. Super happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again!

Both our relatively new laptops needed repair..one a keyboard, the other an internal battery replacement (i.e. not easy in and out). Bought at Best Buy, they wanted to send out...with no guaranteed return schedule. Found Robert w/Google Search, he's local in Farmington Valley. Were able to leave computers for a quick checkout, pick up and use until parts arrived (Robert secured the parts very quickly), then only a few hours for each replacement. Highly recommended. VERY responsive and honest. Robert came to my house the same day on a Sunday to pick up a very important NAS unit that had just failed. He diagnosed the issue and had my equipment immediately sent to one of the few facilities in the US that could recover the data. Not only did his referral recover my data, but I saved thousands of dollars using his connection. Afterwards, it took me effort to convince Robert that I should pay him for his time spent overseeing the repair.

I called Robert around 3:00 because I was having problems with the new computer I built. First of all he was the only company in Simsbury who actually answered, all the others let me go to voicemail to leave name and number. Second he was at my house by 3:30 happy to help. He's well experienced, easy to talk too, and had the issue I had fixed in about a half hour! I know who i'm calling from now on, and told me I could reach out to him anytime.
