The Original Rachel's Mediterranean

I love the falafel pita sandwich they have here. And I recently tried their falafel rice bowl, which was also very tasty. And I like to get the rice pudding on occasion, which is also yummy. I've never had a bad thing here, basically.

I had a falafel rice bowl from another restaurant, which was good, but heavy and on the greasy side. The falafel rice bowl from Rachel's is definitely not heavy or greasy at all. It tastes healthy and doesn't make me feel so full that I can't finish it all. Also, it doesn't upset my stomach at all. I'm a little lactose intolerant, but whatever tahini sauce they use on top is super friendly to my stomach, unlike other eateries in the area which use a thicker, richer tahini sauce.

Rachel is amazing and makes the best food! I’ve been coming here since I can remember and it’s better every time!

I work right next door to this location and probably stop in once or twice a week on my lunch. The service is outstanding and the food is delicious. Thank you for your consistent awesomeness.

The Original Rachel's on Main Street in Williamsville is the best! I will never go back to any of the franchised locations. The original location has the best tasting and freshest food. I have never had an issue at the original location as I have at the franchise locations. After reading some of the negative reviews, I think the reviewer was not here but at a franchise.I have experienced nothing but positiveness at the the original location. Rachel is the best and super friendly. She remembers her regulars and their orders. I love it there and love the food and service. Highly recommend this location.

Overall, always a great experience. I ALWAYS get the falafel wrap and it's always consistently tasty and made well! I came in to pick up food recently and the decor could definitely use some work - some greenery would help for sure. A lot of room for potential, it looks like.

Will continue to order from Rachel's!

Fantastic food. The vegetables are fresh and crisp, the steak is tender, and the sides (hummus and baklava) are amazing!! The woman at the counter is so nice and friendly. Highly recommend!

I Love Rachel’s but this was my first time at the Original Rachel’s and I can’t believe it but it was even more delicious. The food is incredible and the family that runs the place is a great kind hard working family. In fact THE Rachel even let us take a photo with her! Super great place. If you love Rachel’s you have to go to the original Rachel’s at least once!

Everything was great. This location is more low key. My only complaint is that the lights were so bright I wanted to die but that's a personal problem. Food was super good, fresh and well cooked. Good portions, flavorful. My chicken soulvaki dinner lasted me three meals so yeah. Worth it!!!

I order online all the time. Here's the thing....the food is FANTASTIC and it's fresh but you will wait for it if you don't take the preparation time seriously. If it tells you your order will be ready around 12:15, they aren't joking. They get a million orders because of how delicious thier food is so don't show up to pick up your order early....this isn't the place. Quality takes time. Now with that being said, I get the chicken bowl and it is AMAZING, every single time. The portions are usually good enough for 2 meals ( at least for me). Side note....the deli case is where the magic happens. Anything in it...buy. Tabouli, hummus, rice pudding...BUY IT, give it as gifts or horde it for yourself, you will not regret it. Remember be kind and order online 😁

Great quick food. Garlic sauce is POTENT, but worth it. The Rachel’s Rice bowl never ceases to satisfy.

Quality to presentation to portion sizes are perfect in my opinion. Very consistent, too.

This was a great lunch experience... The whole point of going out to lunch is to be comfortable in this is a comfortable place. The staff was also nice knowledgeable about the food the products and the prices were great.

I had an amazing experience with Rachel's catering my bridal shower. I tested positive for COVID the day before my original order, called and explained the situation, and they were incredibly understanding. They allowed me to switch everything over to be picked up on a later Sunday, when they're not even normally open! I'm SO grateful to how they handled what felt like a worst-case scenario for me, and everyone I talked to was so kind. When the rescheduled date came, we had zero issues with pick-up. The food was MORE than enough for all my guests, and everything was delicious. Thank you, thank you everyone who made my day possible!

This Rachels is a great location - we went here for lunch the other day and there was no line. I ordered the chicken schwarma wrap (delicious) and it was out within 10 minutes. The only issue I had was that if it was busier, parking would be somewhat limited due to the small spot in the back.

A bit of a wait for the food, but most deff worth every min.... the very very best food ever! Everything I ordered was perfect! Great customer service! And super accommodating to the crazy way I wanted the order and receipts broken up, the front staff lady kept checking on me letting me know the progress of my food and to make sure I was okay. Super duper thoughtful! And then as she was bagging it at the end she did it in front of me to make sure it was right! Just awesome! Such a great experience! I love this place! 🧡 The only bad thing.... was the tummy ache because I couldn't stop eating the delicious food!!!
