Caluna

Caluna is a team of some of the most talented women in the industry! Jana with Magnolia Photography, Jessie with Willow Event Designs, and Ashley with Ash Events. These three ladies have all partnered up and created an Event Design Collective that allows for you to have that hands on experience where your vision comes to life before your event day ever arrives. We all sat down and went over linens, vases, candlestick colors and designs, florals that we loved, timing of the day, every aspect of the event from top to bottom. During these meetings you are able to meet with three of your vendors and bounce ideas off of each other about what works, what is going to look best, and what is going to achieve the design you are looking for.

I met the girls of Caluna at the 2023 Bridal Expo. Jana with Magnolia Photography introduced herself to me first and we instantly clicked after talking about living in Pawleys Island. I was then introduced to Ashley of Ash Events and Jessie of Willow Florals and pretty much decided subconsciously this was going to be my dream team. After a few weeks of trying to DIY an elopement, beach wedding, formal wedding and backyard wedding, I gave up and called in the squad. Our meetings were so organized, even my now husband enjoyed them (well, as much as a man can enjoy picking out table cloths).
What really was the icing on the cake (lol), was the day of our wedding it rained. It was sunny and 65 all week and the day we got married it was 45, grey, rainy, and miserable. I cried 3 times the morning of our wedding because of the rain. The whole Caluna + Village House teams handled the rain plan completely by themselves and left me in peace instead of annoying me with every little leafy, muddy detail about what a rain plan should look like. Our rain plan was magical - they thought of clear umbrellas for us which added a vintage look and feel and if there was a break in the weather, we were outside getting the best moments photographed.
We are so delighted and over the moon happy with how everything turned out. Matt and I loved everything. Even our guests said “It was the best wedding they’ve been to!” We are so lucky to have these great memories and a great team to make it all happen. Thank you again!

Caluna was the perfect location not only for our Rehersal dinner, but it had the courtyard space for us to be able to host a welcome dinner following the dinner! This space is such a blank canvas you can really do whatever in there and make it your own!
