We have worked with The Backyard two different times and everything has been perfect. Bryan is very knowledgeable and his team is very talented and professional. You can’t go wrong with them!

We have used The backyard for three projects over the past year, and have been thrilled with each one. Bryan and his crew have been on time, professional, hard working, task-oriented, and highly communicative every step of the way. They stuck to their timeline, schedule, and quote For each project and even scheduled us earlier than originally expected for the last project. They have skilled craftsman to help with design and good workers to implement. Perhaps most notably, our recent project required Additional materials, and Bryan met us at the agreed-upon price, because he wanted to complete the job that we wanted. Finally, with any kind of project planning, communication is So important. To be honest, many contractors are not good at it, but that was. The best part about working with Bryan. The constant and consistent communication that gave us peace of mind. In short, cannot recommend enough, and looking forward to our next project!

Bryan and his crew from The Backyard did an outstanding job on our new patio and outdoor grill area. This is the second time we have used Bryan and his company, and both times it has been an outstanding experience! They always exhibit a high quality of professionalism and incredible craftsmanship. I appreciate Bryan’s guidance and input into our new patio area at the lake - it is a perfect addition that we will enjoy for years to come! Backyard Auburn was great! They cleaned up several problem areas in my yard and extended my patio. They were great and I would absolutely use them again.

Well The Backyard- Lake Martin definitely deserves 5 stars! First I will start with saying that Bryan let us know that we were not forgotten over the time we were waiting for them to work on our yard. They showed up when they were supposed to, were courteous, fast workers and cleaned up afterwards. The cost was reasonable, I didn't feel like they were trying to gouge me. I definitely will be calling on The Backyard next time I need this type of work done.

Brian and his team are the BEST! Focused squarely on great customer service and making sure you are 100% satisfied. They are fast, efficient, and have many years of experience laying stone. I highly recommend the Backyard!

We had the guys from The Backyard come out and install a set of steps and a short wall by our driveway. They arrived on time and got right to work. The project was done fast and with great quality. The guys cleaned up the area and left it just like they found it. This is the 3rd project they have done for us and all of them have been exceptional. I highly recommend them.

We recently completed our second project with Bryan and The Backyard. Our two projects in total involved replacing most of our existing outdoor improvements with a flagstone patio and stacked stone walkway, gas-fired fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Bryan and his guys deliver excellent workmanship, and they were a pleasure to have on the job - extremely professional, responsive to any questions, and standing behind their final product. In addition, for various reasons with our second project we needed The Backyard to commit to a tight work schedule 6 months out; Bryan stuck to his schedule commitment and completed his work on time. They’re truly fantastic - we can’t recommend them highly enough and would definitely use them again!

Second job Bryan and his team have done for us and we’re just as happy as we were after our first. Might be happier to be honest because it turned out even better than we expected. Small job but big difference. The flagstone was a big upgrade to our previous concrete slab front entryway. The stone gives it great character and creates a step up from the driveway to give it a subtle change in elevation. The pictures don’t do it justice so you’ll have to take my word that it looks fantastic!! Thank you Bryan!!

Bryan and the team at The Backyard are artists with patios and build beautiful walkways that add a lot of value to your home. We have now worked with them on 4 projects and keep coming back since their quality, service and price are great. Highly recommend! Eventually we won’t be able to hire them to do any more work when we don’t have any grass left 😀

The crew was excellent. Not a stone left upon clean up. Very professional. The Backyard at Auburn a must if you want an outdoor patio. They come went they tell you and the price is spot on. This patio is more than we were expecting. Love it can not wait until " Roll Tide Roll" with friends and the big screen. Going to be a great birthday.

I cannot say enough good things about Brian Waits at The Backyard. This is the 2nd project he has done for us. We have been very pleased both times. I highly recommend The Backyard if you are needing any work done. You won’t be disappointed.

Bryan and his crew are hands down the best! They installed a fire pit, flagstone border and stepping stones at my house. In addition to beautiful work, they took care of the remaining lawn and no debris/rocks were left behind. Very professional, courteous, and the work/design is perfect! Kinsley and the installation crew are very professional. They paid attention to detail and built exactly what we wanted. Great communication made it an easy process from start to finish. We recently had a fire pit and patio installed in our backyard. Their quote was affordable and the finished product is beyond worth it. As our project came to an end, the crew made it a priority to clean up any trash or material that was left; they left our yard and driveway spotless. It is a pleasure doing business with the Backyard. We will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects that we have.

Brian is VERY responsive to calls and texts and his work is impeccable! If we had any problems or tweaks that needed to be made, they were addressed immediately, no questions asked and no more out of pocket expense. We have used him twice and would use him again if needed!

The Backyard crew just finished our 2nd project with them. We AGAIN were appreciative of the quality of their work, and the speed at which they completed our project. Each member of their crew knew exactly what needed to be done next, and THEY did it to keep things moving along. There was no down time for anyone. Their crew leader, Alfonso, was very meticulous in the layout, establishing elevations, and overseeing his crew. Bryan was very helpful in our proposed layout and design, as well as confident of his crew and their ability to deliver an attractive project. My wife and I feel that this project has added great value to our home and years of enjoyment.
