Rico's Deli

If you reside or work near Alpine, failing to visit Rico's Deli would be a missed opportunity. Their lunchtime offerings include pizza by the slice, sandwiches, and other deli options, catering to diverse tastes. Notably, their pizza is among the finest in the area!

I've driven past here for a while and regret each time now. The owners are friendly and the food is amazing. I had a slice of the deluxe pizza while waiting for my sandwich and gladly suffered third degree burns because I couldn't put it down. Fresh toppings and cheese with a perfect crust: not too doughy or too crisp.
The panini style buffalo chicken grilled cheese was amazing also and came with a pickle and coleslaw . A bag of chips was an option if one would pass on a very good coleslaw.
The pizza slice was just under $4 I believe and the sandwiches run $8-10. All the pricing is absolutely a steal for quality and quantity. If you're anywhere nearby, this has to be a regular stop!

Small nostalgic pizza place! The pizza is reminiscent of childhood. It is difficult to find a place that has this kind of quality. My husband and I will drive 45 minutes for this pizza! We tried a sub for the first time and those are just as amazing, if not better!
The owner is super friendly! We were gifted with a couple of canola for our anniversary which were tasty. We will continue to support this small business!! Thank you Rico for your amazing!

GREAT place, and even better pizza. Used to live close, moved further away, still go back. Used Rico’s for my daughter’s birthday party pizza, they let me borrow the insulated delivery bag! AND to our surprise there was a present in it to my daughter from the owners! You don’t see this kind of small business customer service anymore. Go find out for yourself, you won’t regret it.

Always a great meal served up with a smile! Loved every item I’ve ordered here. Highlights are the Reuben, which is by far the best around GR and the Pastrami with coleslaw is delish too…..they make it all fresh, hot and full of heart and soul. Today I was made the BEST pizza I’ve had in a long time!! Green olives with bacon and pineapple on half….Homerun!! I’ll be back again and again. 👍

First, the place is really clean and smells amazing. Second, the service I received was extremely kind and welcoming. Finally, the food was the BOMB. I got the zippy chicken bacon ranch and i took a slice of the meat lovers pizza home. I’ve been told i should try this place for a couple years, and my only regret is not going sooner! I will be back for sure.

We ordered 2 subs tonight.. a super deluxe and a little Italy. WOW I would say they were the best subs we've had in the area period. They know how to do it. Our new place for subs and more... thank you very much

Amazing experience. They were incredibly sweet when we ordered on the phone and when I arrived the lady was really friendly. She asked me about my day and job and just genuinely kept me engaged in easy conversation while they finished up. We ordered subs and they were divine. The ham and cheese was exactly what you want in a ham and cheese, and the buffalo chicken was incredible. The salad was delicious too. Definitely our new sub spot.

Great little spot we stumbled upon. I’m a big fan of delis and this place had great reviews on google so we decided to check it out. The offer pizza by the slice and whole pies, subs, paninis. We shared a slice of pizza which was really good and we got the Buffalo grilled cheese panini and the siciliano. Both paninis were delicious. We’ll definitely be back for the Reuben! The staff was very friendly too!

Super friendly, they really make you feel like they genuinely appreciate your business. I got the buffalo chicken wrap, and it was hands down the best one I've EVER had. I just started working down the road from this place, and I'm going to be eating lunch here a LOT.

Great little sandwich /pizza place with lots of tasty choices. Owner is really nice and takes pride in making tasty food. Pizza slices and daily sandwich specials. Grab and go cooler with lots of variety. Clearly a new diamond on Alpine.

I stopped in today because I had seen goulash advertised and that's one of my favorites! From the moment I walked in they made me feel more comfortable than any place I've visited! I will be back!

Second best pizza and subs I've ever had. Right behind the first bite I took after getting my wisdom teeth removed. My wife and I realized both of us wanted to go here instead of the chophouse in Lansing so we canceled our reservation and headed over. When we told the owner/manager (not sure, didn't ask, and if she's not, promote that woman) that we decided this was our preferred dinner for our 8 year anniversary she turned tail and ran, only to come back with cannolis on the house. It's our favorite pizza and sub place to go since Mario's in Grand Haven shut down and I can't honestly say Mario's was any better. AND I worked there so I'm biased. I can't say enough good things about them Rico's.

They also sell top of the line, trusted kratom which was a nice surprise.

Stopped in for lunch and grabbed a slice of deluxe pizza which was under $4 dollars and a can of pop under $2 ! My mother had a sub and she was not disappointed! Most delicious pizza I had by far:) !

They have the best pizza, Subs, Ruben's, Soup everything I've had from here has been spectacular. I don't get my pizza or any of this stuff from anywhere else. It's a must try

Rico's is killing it. The best pizza on the west side. Made a mistake of going to another pizza shop not going to say the name, but it rhymes with Gino's.. lol.. ill never make that mistake again. Everyone at Rico's are awesome. Friendly, courteous and always greet you with a smile. They have the best sauce. We appreciate you Rico, you're the best Brother.. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Can say without a doubt one of my greatest regrets in life is driving past this place so many times before stopping in. Girlfriend and I got the Ruben and Biggg Baller sub and I have only one word AMAZING!! On top of that they got Cheerwine and the best customer service, will definitely be back!

This is a great place with delicious food and good service. Nice variety of choices too.
I do suggest hair nets for kitchen staff, please.

1st time trying Rico's. What nice people and the food was absolutely incredible. We will be back for sure!
