We stopped by for breakfast sandwiches before heading to the museum. Kevin greeted us with a hearty welcome. He walked us through the menu, took down our orders, and gave us an accurate time until the order would be complete. We took a stroll around the block while we waited. We enjoyed our sandwiches at the outdoor tables on a beautiful sunny day. The umbrellas provided plenty of shade for a pleasant meal. Kevin was very kind to my kids and each left with something small "on the house." This is an exceptional spot that makes Oakland feel like home! Give Kevin a visit!

Every meal is prepared with love, and Kevin will brighten your day with his contagious positivity, joy, and love for life. My cheeseburger and fries were made to perfection, and I will be craving the pound cake for life! I would recommend Kevin’s Deli to anybody in need of high quality food, a good laugh, and uplifting conversation.

Not only is the food fresh and personally made by Kevin for every order, it is absolutely delicious, and very affordable to boot! Plus, Kevin is a super nice guy and it's always worth kicking back to chat while he cooks. I lived in Webster Hall 10 years ago and I have fond memories of Kevin's deli. Now, 10 years later, the food and conversation is just as good! Check this place out, you won't regret it.

Excellent institution. Have been going here since I was an undergrad at Pitt ~10yrs ago (lived in the building). Quality has always been top notch. In my opinion, the best Reuben in Pittsburgh. Other favorites include the chicken hoagie, BLT with cheese, and turkey club. The famous chop is also a great breakfast option. Owner is a nice regular humble dude. Prices are more than reasonable as well.

I discovered Kevin’s by searching for nearby delis online. Turns out, Kevin’s was close and highly rated. And for good reason! I had the steak sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Kevin is a great conversationalist and a genuinely great guy. He’s so nice he brought cookies out for dessert, on the house.

Kevin’s deli is the best place i have ever gone for food. before i even ate the sandwich i knew it was going to be the best sandwich i has ever had and i was right. he is one of the sweetest and kindest people i have ever met and he made my friend and i feel so comfortable. he runs the business himself and he makes the food right in front of you himself. such a sweet guy and great food

I got to try Kevin's Deli when I was in town for a dental school interview at Pittsburgh. I came across this fine gem on Yelp. It was located near my hotel nestled in a little apartment complex?-- it was a little difficult to find...but I'm glad I did! This small shop has a large menu with some of the happiest workers that Ive ever encountered. The food was delicious and Kevin recommended that I try the Steak Hoagie. Very good! Since it was my first visit Kevin let me grab whatever I wanted to drink---On him! It was their great attitude and good food that motivated me to write this review. Heck I would go to this place just to put myself in a good mood! Their upbeat attitude and comforting food gave me a sense of 'mood therapy' that made the end of my trip to Pittsburgh great!

Kevin's Deli is a quaint little joint that won't disappoint! My husband and I enjoyed delicious and fresh meals that felt like it was cooked with a lot of love and care. Kevin was also such a warm and kind man (he offered us free drinks and split our fries because he knew my husband and I were sharing), and that just made our experience that much better!

Great conversation and yummy food! Kevin is such an awesome person! He really takes pride in his food and relationships with customers! I wish I could rate more than 5 stars!

Mannn I order from here ALL THE TIME!!! The prices are dope, food is dope, Kev himself is dope so yesss…. If you’re hungry go here and get some GOOD FOOD with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I love the chicken tenders and fries. The buffalo chicken salad is one of my fav too.

Kevin’s Deli is seriously the best breakfast/lunch spot in Pittsburgh. Kevin himself is a kind and friendly man who cares about his customers. And his food is fantastic!!! I like to get the famous chop but you can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu.

Kevin's Deli is one of my very favorite spots to grab a salad, sandwich, or try something new on the menu. Kevin is amazing, kind, and cares about the quality of his dishes. If I could give this guy 10 stars, I would.

Located inside Webster Hall, this deli has what are honestly the best breakfast sandwiches I have very had in my entire life. Made hot and fresh on the grill in front of you, and reasonably priced to boot. Every meal I've tried here has been out-of-this-world fantastic, all the way down to the tuna salad. Additionally, the owner, Kevin, is the nicest man you will ever meet. I love this deli and would come here every morning for breakfast if I could.

It's not just the great food here. It's also the experience! The burgers were so good and the fries made to order and fried perfect. We also loved talking and sharing stories with Kevin. He has a gift for loving people and life. Thank you!

Kevins Deli is a small deli with a gigantic heart. The food is made fresh to order and Kevin is kind, friendly and makes you feel right at home. You can tell he loves what he does and that love shines through when you bite into his food. If your in the Pittsburgh area, do yourself a favor and stop by Kevin's deli.

Kevin's Deli is a tiny little spot tucked inside the Webster Hall apartment building. Enter from the rear entrance on Dithridge St. and look left to find it quickly. I am working in this area again after a few years' absence, but somehow had never heard of this place. I tried it today for something different. If it is nice outside, there are some tables outside of the building for some pleasant people watching. There is no inside dining space that I saw.

I got the buffalo chicken salad and onion rings. The food was well-prepared with fresh greens and a generous cup of buffalo-ranch dressing on the side. The portions were more than generous for the price. This place is definitely on my short list of lunch stops now, and I look forward to trying some of the other items on the menu.

One recommendation: If you're on a schedule, call ahead or order online. I wasn't sure how big/fast the operation would be, so I walked over to check it out and place my order in person. There were a couple of orders in front of me, and I was quoted 20 minutes for my order. That was just about spot-on for an estimate, but be prepared, as this is not a large short-order kitchen that can crank out bunches of orders quickly. It's worth it to have something that seems to be prepared with care, though.

I'm glad I gave Kevin's Deli a try and will be back again.

Kevin is such a beautiful person and his steak hoagies are as beautiful as him. I've never had a better time at a deli
