I used to see Dr. Bunya for years when I lived in Griffin. He was always wonderful to me and never failed me. I moved to NW Georgia and saw a couple of well-reviewed Dermatologists in that area where there are many good medical folks to choose from. I saw two or three different Dermatologists up there. They were all super nice but nothing they prescribed me helped worth a toot and one of them gave me incorrect information as to my skin problem. I've wished many times I could just run over to see Dr. B since then. I wish I could now, but it appears he's retired. His experience and knowledge cannot be over-stated. I have the highest regard for him.

Dr. Bunya was very nice and knowledgeable! He was able to see me as a new patient within 2 weeks where no one, not even a PA at Sandwich's office would be able to see me for 3 months! Dr. Bunya took his time, listened to me, and made sure that he addressed all of my concerns. I will definitely be going back to see him next time I need a dermatologist!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bunya since the very early 1980's. I am a 74 year old male, who began my sun exposure in Africa at the young age of 18. Since that time, my travels have taken me all over the world, literally, and I was a first class sun worshipper. 1980 or so, I began to pay for the damage done along the way. Dr. Bunya has performed numerous surgeries and other treatments for basal/squamous cell carcinoma extractions, among other sun caused conditions, including referrals for MOHS surgery. I have truly found, from the very first visit, and believe wholeheartedly there is no more honest and truthfully patient concerned Dermatologist in the field today. I thank him for being my Doctor, and just as, if not more importantly, my dear friend. Thank you Dr. Bunya for being there for me. You truly make this world a better place.

Dr. Bunya is very nice but beware if you miss a bill. They will send you straight to collections without giving you a chance to pay, without even a courtesy phone call! They ruined my credit over a bill I wasn't even aware of. Then, after I payed the collections they tried to bill me again for the same thing. And all of this was for one hundred dollars... I think I'll go somewhere else with a little more organization.

....Update to your response. What's the point in calling you now? The damage is done! Can you reverse my credit score?? Maybe you should think about how you treat your customers/patients. Turning someone over to collections for a hundred dollars doesn't seem like you are providing the best possible customer service to me. I could understand if it were for several thousand, but a hundred dollars??? Something needs to change...

I personally don't think it should be that difficult to get a doctor to listen! However, this doctor doesn't seem to think listening to his patients to be a problem. He walked in the room with a diagnosis of psoriasis, when I explained that wasn't what I had he ignored me and just kept on with his diagnosis and treatment. When I said I wasn't there for a diagnosis but because my hematologist wanted me to get a biopsy to compare to a previous biposy and why, he dismissed that and insisted I had psoriasis. I said , no I didn't that I was producing too many mast cells and believed along with my allergy doctor I had something called Mastocytosis. He disagreed. I just needed a biopsy not his "psychic" thoughts that just by looking at me he could decide what was wrong. I'm not a one size fits all. I have medical disorders that are unusual and don't fit in a preselected box! And it would be great if he had just shut up and listened to me!
