Fireman's Cafe

I've been here several times, and I just decided to tell everyone to go and try it for yourself. It's my go-to for a Pulled Turkey BBQ sandwich, it's unbelievably good! Everything I've tried on the menu is good, plus genuinely friendly service and a cute atmosphere - can't miss.

1st time going here. 5 Stars for Quality of Food and Customer Service. There was a snafu with the order but had no issues correcting. The food was delicious and worth every penny. Coming from Mississippi this was a real treat. The BBQ was banging and the Shrab Fries (Phenonemal). Keep it up guys!

Delicious soul food in an unassuming store front. The eating area doesn't have a lot sitting space, but their specialty is carry out and catering. Those that do dine-in will be treated with fire fighter paraphernalia. However, the main attraction to Fireman's cafe is the food. It didn't take long for the food to be prepared and there was a scrumptious simplicity to it. A must visit for those in the area.

I didn't expect too much by looking at the exterior but they serve up some really tasty soul food. Highly recommended. Stuff is cooked to order so give them a few minutes to put together your plate. They have funky hours so check online or call ahead.

Now I just tried this place off a whim. Dinner time and I couldn’t make up my mind on what to cook so here is where I ended up. The website says they close at 9 on one page but disregard that, they close at 8. The prices are reasonable, generous portions of food. When I called to place my order I could tell they have young workers but they were very respectful and professional unlike a few other places with young staff. The inside was clean, I was greeted immediately and customer service was just awesome. Not to mention these SHRAB FRIES!?!! Oh. My. Goodness. Shrimp and crab meat on hot fresh fries 😋 only two minute things I wish there was more pieces of shrimp and a little more sauce. Fireman’s cafe, you have a new returning customer. I hope the rest of the food lives up to the amazing service and food I received tonight.

I stumbled across this restaurant and I have to say this place is amazing… The fish, Mac & cheese, and collard greens are everything!!!! I totally enjoyed my experience and I’m coming back so my family can try!

Really good food. So good in fact I forgot to take a pic before eating it. I would definitely recommend the hush puppies, mac and cheese, and ooohhhh those yams!!

So I stopped at this spot with my friend and let me tell you the crabs cakes did not disappoint this place should be on TLC , reasonably priced for fresh sea food. This place was made to order and gave great portions. 5 , 5 , 5 in my book ! Nice little spot nestled off the highway ! If you blink you would miss it ! ✨

Fireman’s Cafe has great customer service and an awesome backstory to match. The food was delicious, with flavors that gave the food LIFE! This is definitely a hidden gem in Clinton. I will certainly be back or use for catering!

First time at Fireman's Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered fish platters with 2, sides each. The string beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw and the baked beans were all delicious. We will most definitely come back and recommend this place 👍

I had pleasure of dining at this restaurant twice over the weekend and I must say the food was superb! My food was fresh, made to order and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly, especially the lady at the front. This establish is a must try if you are in the area. I will definitely return.

I found them online and stopped in last Friday. It is a little place with great food. Wonderful mix of soul & seafood. I had the whiting platter with sweet potatoes and cole slaw sides. The fish was two lightly breaded filets. Fried just right without being greasy. The sweet potatoes were seasoned well and not whipped to death. The slaw was a nice blend of 2 cabbages & carrots with the perfect amount of dressing. You also get 2 slices of bread. I had enough for 2 meals. The place is small with a wrap around counter that sits about a dozen. It was all very clean and the people very friendly. It is a little hard to see from the street depending on your direction. I highly recommend you stop in, even if you get your food to go, which seems to be their main business.

I ordered here for the first time, and the food is very delicious and it was hot and they also got my order right, I called them to let them know how good their food is. I most definitely will be ordering from them again, I have nothing negative to say about them, just all positive things. Thank you so much for the delicious food. #BlackOwnBusiness

I ordered there for the first time because I wanted to see what the fuss was all about! When I tell you the "fuss" was worth it, it was! Awesome, tasty, nice portions, neat, temperature just right. The hush puppies are to die for! Im hooked on the ladder and don't plan on coming down no time soon!👍😋😁

I stumbled across their truck parked on 7th and Pennsylvania Avenue. For starters, the service was exemplary. As for the food, it was superb. I got the catfish and the turkey BBQ sandwiches. The catfish seemed to melt in my mouth. It was by far the best I have ever had. The BBQ was like no other. While bragging about the food, I learned about the cafe. I will definitely be going. After all, we have to support our local firemen. :-)

Alright, so basically I found this place by random. The service was great, the people were nice and they recommended that I get the shrab fries (shrimp and crab). I will definitely go back and try something else on the menu.

The prices are reasonable, the place is clean and they have air conditioner.

It was delicious and reasonably priced! It was $15 for the fried shrimp entree that includes 2 sides. It was all really good and the shrimp were big unlike many other restaurants. 10/10

Great to see a longtime friend in the business, a most for the seafood lover the crab and shrimp cake...

Always fresh and good tasting food. My family and I have ordered the shrab fries (household fave), shrab cakes, wings, mac & cheese, string beans, yams. Friendly and clean service.
