This is a locally owned franchise coffee shop that started in New Orleans. I had a latte with no flavors added. Also tried an apple cinnamon scone and the beignets. Both were delicious. The coffee was very good. No sugar needed. The interior is simple and spacious. Highly recommend.

Dropped in to visit this place on the recommendation of a friend. She said everything was great, but especially the beignets. That was an understatement! The beignets come in sizes of 3, 6, and 12. I got 3 in case I didn’t like them. Well, I had to go back bc not only were they delicious and fluffy on the inside, they were made FRESH to order!!! Just like in New Orleans! Very polite and friendly, yet efficient service. Excellent t laidback atmosphere! I’ll be back when I have more time to chill!!! Conveniently located off Exit 82 on I-20 in Elgin/Columbia, SC.

I’m not a huge coffee drinker, so I love how I can customize my drink to my taste and the employees are very helpful with this. Anyone I have dealt with has been an absolute pleasure. The place is always clean and I absolutely LOVE the decor! Ohhhhhh…the beignets are AMAZING! Try them once and you’ll def be back for more! Ask for a side of caramel sauce with them! 😋 Thank me later!

Man this places has the best beignets hands down. I have never tasted beignets in my life until my manager told me about them. Now I can’t stop buying them. The atmosphere was great, the ladies that were on duty did a wonderful job and I really appreciate that. Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing me every week.

We visited PJ's Coffee on their opening day. They have a very nice selection of pastries for anytime and a few sandwiches for lunch. We had beignets and coffee. Both were freshly made, so if you're in a hurry, expect a little wait. We also bought coffee beans which they ground for us. Very friendly.

I went in for coffee and a sausage egg biscuit before going to the Harley dealership around the corner for a group ride. Of course I was wearing my riding gear. Besides being very professionally friendly and providing excellent service, the two gals in the front of the store wished me a good day and a safe ride. I will definitely be back!

Second time visiting this morning. Both experiences have been wonderful. Since watching the Princess and the Frog movie, I've wanted to try beignets.. and I tried them today. They were AMAZING! I also tried the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. The only coffee I've tried so far is the mocha velvet ice with oatmilk. I plan to try more.
Everything was wonderful. Fresh. Delicious. SO happy PJ's moved into the area. Guys support PJ's, not Starbucks!

Great coffee shop in northeast Columbia. Nice change of pace from some of the chain coffee places and offerings. Staff are always courteous. Coffee is hot (as it should be) when served. Definitely recommend if you want some good coffee, a pleasant atmosphere and excellent service.

They are so awesome! The beignets are delish and the coffee is so yummy!! They told me they have several sugar free flavors as well!! Which is hard to find at other coffee shops!

My wife & I enjoyed a nice brunch here on a Friday. The beignets were very good, and the small batch coffees were terrific too. But the very best thing that we experienced was the exceptional courtesy from all the staff members. They made us feel not just valued as customers, but as people. They provided the most genuinely pleasant service that we’ve received in a long time. Thank you, PJ’s!

Beignets we’re really good, lots of powdered sugar and they were very fluffy. The peach Palmer tea was the best, they also give me a size up from a medium for waiting. I love the style of the inside too! The customer service was great one of the cashier ask us if this was our first time there and explained everything to us. Definitely worth checking it out and we most definitely will have to do a second visit!
