Great, relaxing atmosphere and great coffee, and even more so great hospitality. I had a conversation with Arick, one of the owners, and he definitely embodies some of the goals he talks about for the shop. After a previous visit, I couldn't find a personal item of mine, and when I called to see if they had seen it, Arick went above and beyond. Hoping for more and more success for them as their brick and mortar has only been up for about 10 months. Go stop in!

Went to the grand opening of their new café! I had a mocha latte with oat milk. The espresso was delicious. The atmosphere was very comfy and cozy. There was also a woman selling art in a separate part of the café. My friend had an iced cafe miel and said it was fire (that means it was good).

There's outdoor seating, which was great for the amount of people that were there for the grand opening.

I love this coffee brand, and the company is doing great things all around. I'm excited they have their own spot now!

First and most importantly, the coffee is GREAT. Last Mile keeps it real and they put a lot of love into their roasting process. The Last Miel is my favorite drink, but their drip coffee hits too. Owners and employees are super kind and always entertain my small talk. <3 This place needs to be on your map!

This place has outstanding coffee, you could even say premium coffee. They also donate 10% of their profits to local non-profits in the area. Excellent coffee + bettering our community = small business I enjoy supporting. Coffees range from about $3 to $8 depending on what you order. They also have baked goods from Rise Bakery which are all GF and dairy free, and they are so good (and I don't even have those allergies). Malamiah juice is available for purchase as well. Highly recommend getting some coffee and a pastry from this great establishment!

As a native Grand Rapidian living elsewhere, it’s so gratifying to visit family here and find kind, quality businesses being established. My cafe miel was outstanding, the seating comfy, and the music at an appropriate volume for conversation. I had the privilege of going to Last Mile for the first time on MLK day! The space is very welcoming and comfortable, with adequate space for seating. The space is also very clean and the workers are very kind and helpful with any questions you have. I ordered a mocha and it was delicious! On my way out, I bought their Ethiopian blend and it is truly some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. On top of being delicious, when I purchased the coffee I was able to designate a portion of funds towards 1 of 4 areas: Youth at Risk, Criminal Justice Reform, Environmental Justice, and Access to Clean Water. As someone who works in fundraising, I really loved this piece too. Thanks LMC for making my mornings more bearable, I'm thankful that your cafe is on my drive home from work and I look forward to visiting again soon!

Avery was amazing! So friendly, so nice! Their mission is honorable. Organic, fair, trade, and sustainably sourced! Love it!

Awesome new place in a part of town that needs more cool places to hang out! Super accessible right off Hall St. I got an iced chai with a shot of lavender and it was delicious!!

Their Pumpkin Spice Cafe Miel was hands down the best fall coffee drink I've had. Well done!

I love this place’s coffee, ambiance, and community. I typically don’t care for mochas but one of the owners told us about how they use fresh cocoa straight from the bean so I tried it, and it was the perfect amount of chocolatey flavor. Tasted very fresh! I also love the cozy chairs!! Could spend hours doing work here! Will definitely be returning :)

When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by one of the baristas who will take your order. The atmosphere is lively and comforting and their coffee selection is fantastic. They just released a summer menu with a variety of lemonades that are very refreshing.

The space is beautiful and welcoming. Though I don't drink much coffee, I met a friend here and got tea. I often feel out of place in coffee shops around the city, but not here. I bought a bag of coffee for my husband. His hobby is coffee drinking and roasting so he is often unimpressed with specialty roasters. His exact words about this coffee were "I'm impressed". I can't remember the last time he said that about a new coffee. Well done Last Mile. You managed to impress a serious skeptic :D

Stopped by their booth at the farmers market. Incredibly personable owners and some delicious coffee. We had their iced coffee and regular hot coffee and couldn't stop raving about it. A percentage of every sales goes to your choice of impactful causes printed right on the package. Doing good while doing well. Looking forward to their brick and mortar so we can continue to support.

Obsessed with their oat milk lattes! The default is oat milk & they don’t charge extra (thank you thank you thank you). Also, I’ve been to almost every coffee shop in GR & this one has the most comfortable chairs by far. Nice north-facing windows with indirect sun so you can work in daylight without getting blasted or overheated. The library is right down the street so you can check out a book & read (an added bonus).

Simple coffee menu with a nice variety of options without it being overwhelming. The cold brew I tried today was strong & smooth, honestly the best I've had in ages! So happy to finally have a better option for coffee in the neighborhood. The staff was very friendly & helpful as well. Absolutely recommend this place!

Last mile has an inviting atmosphere, amazing coffee, and supports local small businesses by distributing their food products or supporting them with fliers and events! They have an awesome mission and give back to the community

Love this place. Have been in a few times since they opened and have had an awesome experience every time. The coffee is great and the people inside are even better. Such a great addition to the community and the Boston Square neighborhood.
