Dorothea's Shoppe

3/21/24- I found this place while walking down Sutter St. The employee was busy helping customers but she makes you feel welcomed. I walked around and had a good time looking at all the Christmas items.
I'm here for work but I'm sure my wife would find something as they have a lot to choose from.
I shop for magnets, which they had but felt they were too steep even for California. Still if you're here to visit stop by. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

We go every year to pick out ornaments for our grandchildren. So many fun and beautiful items. It's Christmas all year around in the store. They also have a great selection of Fiesta dinnerware, department 54 villages, and so much more!

This is a huge Christmas store. You can find anything related to christmas and some Hanukkah items. This place is awesome. Open all year.

Always the best decorations & gifts! It's one of my must stops in old Folsom ❤. And Jim, the owner, is so awesome!!!!!

There is so much to see inside this not so little shop!!!! Every theme you can think of to decorate your Christmas tree or hang anywhere! I love the idea of creating a sweet tree with all the different candies and sweets ornaments! Could spend hours in here!!

If you go to Old Folsom, Dorothea’s is a must! I come here every year to add to my Old World Christmas ornament collection. One of my favorite family traditions. The shop is so cute and there’s so much to browse!

Dorthea's is so cute! The best thing is, is that's its Christmas all year 'round here! They have a large selection of Christmas ornaments, but also have some good knick knacks and all assortment of collectibles!

They have every Christmas tree ornament imaginable.

Lots and lots of Christmas decorations and Ornaments. (Many are glass) They also have "Halloween " ornaments as well as colored plates and bowls.

Our family has been going to Dorotheas every Christmas season for 27 years without fail! Each of us picks out an ornament that represents our year. We keep a journal of what each one choose amd why. It is such a great joy to go through them each Christmas, remember each of our lives, the ups and downs, and see God's faithfulness to us all over the years. Our kids are in their mid 20's now and we have more ornaments than our tree can handle but we wouldn't miss this treat ever! It's the highlight of our family traditions! We LOVE this store and hope it goes on forever. God bless!

My mother and I found this gem of a store this last year while exploring around in Folsom. We have now been several times and it is by far one of the best Christmas shops around. The owners are so nice and have such a passion for Christmas as does my mother. We enjoy visiting the store when we can and we have always been given such great service. Such a great place. 😊😊

This is an incredibly adorable year round Christmas shop that also offers some seasonal Christmas(y) decorations such as Saint Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, and Easter themed ornaments (that are sold around the appropriate holidays). There are quite unique Christmas themed collections that I have not seen elsewhere. Wonderful nutcracker variety for sale. Massive life-sized and life-like santa for sale. There is also a random section of colorful ceramic dishware when you first enter the establishment (heavy duty dinner dishes in intensely bright colors).

Highly recommend. We went in again this week and received a lovely welcome as always. Excellent family store.

My girlfriend and had a BLAST!! I've been before but was her first. She couldnt stop getting excited when she sees the Xmas, Halloween and other things. She bought about 50 bucks of products. Employees were amazing and super friendly. When back, will get picks. I highly suggest this place for shopping or at least browsing

I actually came in specifically to shop their fantastic selection of Fiesta Ware, and was not disappointed. The service was excellent. I needed to ship my purchase home, and they made it so easy. Oh, and I did manage to find a Christmas ornament too! I will definitely be back.

Great place for year round Christmas. Tons of decorations and ornaments. There are several different collection both modern and classic. They have the most amazing nut crackers. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

Been going to this shop every year since I was a kid. It's a family tradition that we pick out an ornament every year. And now I take my kids here :) Love this place!

Dorotheas Shoppe is a long standing storefront in Historic Folsom. It has been operating on the best corner of Sutter Street for as long as I can remember. Don't leave Folsom without a visit to Dorotheas. They have so many unique items and Folsom Souvenirs as well. Also they have extended their hours and are consistently open.

I love this store! So many quality Christmas ornaments and beautiful artisan pieces. I found something for everyone on my shopping list.
